Booked a table .restaurant wasnt even open. Then had to pay over the odds to had to get somewhere else too eat

We’ve been to the Royal Taj a few times now and always really enjoyed our visits. The food is delicious, lovely atmosphere and the service is second to none. Would highly recommend.

It was my first visit with my wee sister and we both agreed that we would be back with more relatives especially my youngest daughter as she loves Indian food😂 The only thing that I forgot to ask was do they cater for vegans as my oldest daughter is one😁

This is a brilliant little local restaurant and we absolutely love the food, service and atmosphere. Once again, we had the buffet option which offers freshly prepared food which is replenished often with excellent quality dishes ranging from Bhoona Chicken to Lamb Achari which was superb last night. The staff could not be friendlier and attentive.

Polite, efficient staff who have a good understanding of dietary needs and are careful to check with the kitchen if unsure. Very tasty food. Good range of drinks. Great value for money buffet

We were a party of 6 eventually having booked previously for 4, no problem to the restaurant. We all decided to have the buffet. The starter came on a sizzling cast iron server. Everything was delicious . The mains were varied and plentiful. They brought plain nan bread to our table as one of the party couldn’t eat the garlic ones offered, all fresh and no problem. We were too full to have desert but had coffee. We had 2/3 soft and alcoholic drinks each and the bill was so reasonable. Honestly won’t go anywhere else for a curry now, this place is a gem of a find. Great food, great service and extremely great value for money.

Staff always lovely, food excellent and amazing value. Very good selection of starters. Great selection of mild-spicy curries, plenty of meat (lamb and chicken) and good veggie selection. Always come away stuffed!! Thanks

Really nice Indian restaurant. Staff very nice only negative no plain boiled rice at buffet. But otherwise very nice food. Would certainly visit again soon.

Lovely meal very pleasant staff clean tasteful environment good value slightly less choice than some places but quality beats quantity every time well worth a visit
