The service was very friendly and professional. The food was well prepared and very pleasant. We were a little shocked at the price of a lime juice and soda, which was £3.50. So we gave that as the tip.

Fabulous food and good service -cost appropriate for size of party. Easy location for parking and access. Looking forward to a return visit very soon

Couldn’t fault the food or service in any way. My first visit, with a group of nine, which was handled very efficiently by the waiters.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delcious and was reasonably priced! Nice relaxed atmosphere and busy with happ guests! I will definitely be coming back for another visit soon.

A wonderful evening within my wife. The food was amazing and was beautifully presented, hot and delicious, in the curry was freshly made I could taste the cardamon, ginger and coriander, this was a curry that was homemade and freshly cooked. Staffs were friendly. Highly recommended.

We were a party of 18 celebrating a 70th birthday. The food was excellent and the service very efficient. The restaurant was busy but I would have liked someone to have liaised with me as the person who had made the booking. The billing at the end of our meal was rather rushed; we hadn’t been told that we needed to finish by a certain time and it became obvious another big party was waiting. As this was a special occasion, I was a bit disappointed with this aspect.

THE MENU CHOICES WERE EXCELLENT. THE BUFFET LOOKED EXCELLENT TOO. PORTIONS LOOKED SMALL BUT, IN REALITY, PERFECTLY ADEQUATE! PARKING RIGHT OUTSIDE. STAFF ATTENTIVE (BUT IT WAS A QUIET MONDAY EVENING).

Good food, good service, good prices for food & wine - slight downer is that the nose level from other diners talking etc seemed to echo round the room

We had a delicious meal, and the staff were extremely attentive. Full marks for that. It wasn't their fault that there was a huge party in at the same time as us, but they were so noisy we could hardly hear each other speak. It might be worth restaurants thinking about how they could manage the noise in situations like this.

My husband sister in law and brother in law and myself went to saffron to celebrate a birthday Brilliant service gorgeous food and the staff were amazing. Definitely recommend.

Food was delicious and of a very high quality, the staff very helpful we will definitely be going back. Easy to park out the front.

Excellent food. Excellent Service. It can be a little noisy at weekends especially when a crowd is all one table. Used to be a regular but because of the noise level we go less frequently.

Great food - terrific range of fish dishes. We enjoyed our meal very much. Not too busy on a Tuesday evening. Idiot in the corner on his mobile phone needs to get a life though.

Lovely setting. Great service, without being too much in your face. Party of8, noone had any complaints with there food. Every dish was excellent. Only complaint if I had to make one was the sauces that came with the popadums, should've left on the table, which I am sure if we had asked the would have been. Plus none of them were very hot. Do likes challenge, but it is only a minor fact. Very enjoyable lovely meal. It was so good you having next month for me 50th.

Fantastic food, great vibe and attentive staff. Food was lovely and hot on arrival and loved being given a warmed plate. Very busy restaurant and we were a group of 8 yet we didn’t have to wait too long for food.

As always Saffron Gold we had an excellent meal with very attentive staff, we find it one of the best Indian restaurants in the area we would certainly recommend it but it is advisable to book in advance.

Overall food was excellent but one person had to ask for food to be reheated as came out cold also plates taken away too quickly prior to all finishing eating.

was not informed before or on website that it was a set menu, bit of a con really, Then felt we had to stay, informed us of the set menu after we had ordered 2 poppadoms each (only allowed 1 in the set menu) so got charged!!
