We booked a table on line with a view to eating and drinking. I called on route to say we would be a few minutes late and they said - “oh didn’t anyone call you ? We stopped doing food a month ago” No one had called - we had spent 6 hours driving from London and v disappointed to get this news. Web site needs updating !

Went with my friends to Saison for bottomless brunch . Had a great time. Lovely food and very good service. Would definitely recommend to other people.

I took my wife for a meal here as it was her birthday. The bar is very lively with a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and we could not have been happier with the service.

Excellent breakfast and service - “off menu” smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for the kids too at a very reasonable price. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and will definitely return.

Great food, great staff, sensible prices and a great atmosphere. I’ve eaten here twice and the food was the same high standard both times. Recommended

Food was nice but service could have been a lot better. This place is more of a bar than restaurant and the service definitely shows that. We had 3 waiters/waitresses. At least 2 of them were unsure of the menu details and we were left with our dirty dishes for a long while. Hence didn't stay for dessert.

What a gem of a find..food was excellant and the service was 1st class. I was in a party of 6 people and we all had the special Easter Menu which was lovely.

Great neighbourhood restaurant and bar. Slight delay in taking drinks order for which the staff were extremely apologetic and more than made up for Would recommend

The kitchen mucked up our order and cooked the wrong dishes for some of our party so we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for some food so our table didn’t get to eat together. They offered free drinks as compensation even though we weren’t drinking. A similar issue had happened to the table behind. All in all very disappointing we certainly won’t be back.

Not good. Food was not good. The burger really not good and mussels half cooked and not a lot. Shame because the place is nice and beers are good.

Excellent 3 course Sunday roast dinner. The food was excellent and the service was great. Lovelyselection of draft beers and ciders and plenty bottles to choose from.

We we had a wonderful time. The quality of the food superb. The staff friendly and engaging not forced great experience. Most certainly going back the finest eggs royal I have ever had great job. Regards Wayne r

Nice food, friendly staff, great beer, good atmosphere - no complaints!

Food was ok, big portions- only go if you’re really hungry! Service was not great considering it looked like there was at least 8 members of staff around. Some were sitting at the bar, some went out for cigarettes & some said they’d come and take our order but never came back. I’d go back for drinks as the cocktails, wine and beer were great. Probably wouldn’t go back for food as there’s not much choice. Great pub, not quite a restaurant/bistro yet. Staff were all very friendly though. Mixed feelings to be honest

A little bit cold when we arrived but warmed up. Food and Beer as always were great and friendly staff. Love it here. Always worth a visit.

Fabulous, great service, great food and the best quiz around. Staff are so nice too. Been twice now and both times just as good. I will be back

Best croque madame I've ever had .. reasonably priced .. only suggestion you should have nice cakes to offer at lunch .. carrot 🥕 cake or a fresh cream Victoria sponge would of been perfect after with our latte

We had a very chilled out evening and the food was lovely. Our dog Willow was welcome so all in all it was a very successful evening. We will go back.

A good night with friends and we will return. Good choice of beers and gins. Service staff friendly, welcoming and tried to make us all happy.

A great bar/restaurant, offering great food, beer, atmosphere and last but not least really friendly staff and in a great location in the epicentre of West Didsbury
