We really enjoyed. The food and service were really good.
We always use this restaurant every time we come to London Excellent food great service & fantastic value for money
Lovely food and great staff made for a lovely evening
Fab pre theatre dinner and amazing table magician - would definitely book again
Everyone except one person really liked the food. The wine was a bit expensive
Nice family restaurant. Good, not great with friendly staff and service.
The staff were really good , food was tasty and as described in the menu. we were visited at the table by a magician who did a number of tricks. Lovely place and well worth the visit
Great food and service. And the magician was fab. Would visit again.
Salieri is a favourite of ours. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. On this occasion, I opted to try a pasta dish for the first time and the Penne Alla Puttanesca was delicious. I can also recommend the lamb shank which is still available on the reasonably-priced set meal menu. There is a good selection of wines and, of course, the restaurant has a great location on The Strand.
Poor service. When we ordered beer their ridiculous answer was, the previous day was St Valentine's day and that had run out of it. They do not give us bread and butter to start with as they used to do in the past
Good service friendly staff. Chose to sit by the window but next to the door. Our error as some people don't take any care to close the door after them and it does not seem to have an auto closer fitted, Food is great as we have found on previous visits
Good table, great food, fantastic service. Highly recommend this place
It's a pity a "service charge" is added to the bill without it being asked for. An "Optional Service Charge" could be suggested beneath the final Total. Its current placement on the bill seems slightly underhand, and designed to catch out tourists. As a relatively regular client I was disappointed by this, and so did not leave a gratuity, as a protest!
Good a slight mix up with the food order pleasant staff and atmosphere
Average pre-theatre menu. Service a bit slow. Outdated decor. Reasonable value.
Excellent overall. Great atmosphere, great service. The perfect ending after a visit to the theatre.
Great place for Italian lunch--staff was very friendly, food was excellent.
We really enjoyed our time here. Staff were very welcoming and the service very good. Nice atmosphere and lovely food. We thought it was good value for money for where we were.
Restaurant was packed and staff did very well under such pressure
If I want a lamb shank Salieri is the place to go and it's on the set menu which is really good value. As an independent family-run Italian restaurant in Central London this is highly recommendable for those wanting an inexpensive meal with great service from friendly staff, good ambience and a fine locatio on The Strand.
Friendly staff, very good food and brilliantly placed exactly opposite The Savoy Theatre. Decor a little tired
Worst meal we have had in the past 10 years soo disappointed
A warm welcome, fabulous food, superb staff, amazing ambience, delicious, delightful and worth a wealth of praise. An excellent experience and an outstanding find which will be visited repeatedly by our well travelled group whenever we are in the vicinity. Thanks for your sensational, superb hospitality.
Salieri is such a great place to go. It is a proper West End institution. The food is great, I love the “old school,” atmosphere. Delicious food, fantastic service.
Extensive menu. Everyone in our party loved each course. Lovely atmosphere, music not overly loud and intermittent. Friendly staff and speedy polite service.
An excellent family run restaurant - wonderful food and atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful meal
Fabulous evening, the quality of food, service and atmosphere was excellent
Reasonably priced and good location for theatre land. Not a particularly adventurous menu (although includes fish and chips!) with basic classic Italian fare. Dishes are good sized, well presented and delicious. The salmon parcels starter was excellent and generous. The sea bass and the chicken in red wine sauce from the set menu were good too. We were too full for dessert but they looked huge and home made! Service was efficient and ambience was relaxed. Overall, a pleasant restaurant, perfectly suited for a pre-theatre meal.
Booked this Restaurant to catch up with a friend I have not seen for over a year. We had a nice table and the set menu lunch was delicious and excellent value for money. A true Italian in the heart of London - I will definitely return to this lovely restaurant.
Excellent restaurant, we always like to visit when in London. Disappointed by how few people were in.
Thank you very much - delicious food and wine and great service
It was astonishing to see the owner openly handle my burger in an unhygienic manner then expect me to eat it. I refused to accept it and he became very defensive.
We visit Salieri quite often and we're always made very welcome by the friendly staff. Our latest visit was no exception. The set menu has options that suit us and, in particular, the lamb shank is a definite winner with me. I don't usually take a dessert but as the coffee machine wasn't working opted to have the sorbets which were really good. Hospitality was exceptional.
excellent service, excellent food excellent VFM. our 17:30 sitting meant perfect timing for our 19:30 show over the road
We always visit Salieri when visit London. Great service and attentiveness from cheery waiters is excellent. We opted for the set menu, I had the salmon parcels with prawns and mussels, my husband had the buffalo bruchietta followed by san marco polo I had the sea bass. We ordered a side of sweet potato chips so were unable to manage a dessert. Food was great as was the service. Never disappointed
The staff were very friendly and made my birthday dinner extra special
Service and food were excellent as always, although air conditioning could have been better.
I went in without booking for a pre-theatre meal. They were able to slot me in despite being busy. The set menu price and quality of food was appealing. Waitress that served me was extremely warm and professional.
Average food, slow service, not what it used to be
Unfortunately very bad value, poor quality food and expensive drinks
