Wonderful service and truly delicious food, will definitely come back again
Fabulous food and service. A really lovely local restaurant. We shall return!
It was absolutely great from the beginning till the end! Service was excellent and the food was very delicious.
Great meal at Salut, as always - last night we really enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the restaurant, as well as the delicious food. Friendly, informal service added to a fun night out.
Very pleasant, unpretentious, very good food and choice. Wine list well balanced between interest and price
Salut is one of my favourite restaurants in Islington - it has a really nice atmosphere and the food is always delicious.
Service was absolutely fantastic - huge shout out the Scottish waiter we had, he made the meal even more enjoyable. Food was delicious - portion sizes were just right - the wine went down a treat- all round a perfect dining experience.
Amazing food, great service and atmosphere, although we waited for 45 minutes to get the food.
Food is incredible, honestly delicious. You won't regret going there! Highly recommend
It's really delicious and I would highly recommend this place! To improve, they could sort out the bread and butter situation. The bread needed toasting, and the butter was as hard as ice cream.
Really enjoyed our second visit to Salut - a cosy little restaurant at the end of the Essex Road in Islington. The staff are welcoming and the menu is always interesting: the chef lovingly constructs some interesting food combinations from high-quality ingredients. The smoked goat’ cheese on last night’s menu, for example, were unusual and simply delicious! As a vegetarian, I would love to see some mains choices added to the menu, which break away from the vegetarian risotto mould. Overall an enjoyable meal though - I think Salut deserves to be better known!
Excellent food, and great atmosphere in Islington. I also don’t understand why a review site has a minimum wordc0unt.
