The staff are constantly trying to push you to making orders and getting you out. Really uncomfortable experience. What a shame. And no notification that this was a cash free establishment until at the restaurant. Disappointing to be refused payment in cash which is legal tender in this country. Will not be going here again.
Very tasty pizzas and nice family atmosphere. Thanks to staff
first time and very enjoyable all round. booked return visit!
Pizza was good and staff very friendly. Will go back soon
good pizza, it's a no fuss, easy going place
The pizza is great tasting and authentic. Excellent service too.
Expected more! Very cold welcome when entering restaurant, didn’t have usual buzz / service you get from Italian restaurants. Pizza was ok, 2 out of 5 pizzas were way overdone. Busy place but without real character. Overall good but not quite a Naples.
Lovely pizza and beers pre match Would come here again
I've been already couple of time at Santa Maria Pizzeria in Fulham and never been disappointed. The pizza is very good and tasty and staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.
I'd previously visited this pizza restaurant and was so impressed with the calzone that I decided to book the restaurant again for a family meal. Unfortunately my most recent experience wasn't quite as delightful as the previous one. My calzone and the one my parents ordered were soggy not helped by the fact that they had toppings – the "extras" that we asked for were laid on top of the calzone instead of being put inside along with all the other ingredients. Surprising since calzone is a folded pizza and the ingredients go on the inside, not the outside! I was a little confused as to why this time my calzone had toppings, when I ordered exactly the same thing as my previous visit! Perhaps a different inexperienced chef. One of the extras I ordered – truffle oil – was forgotten about until I mentioned it to the waiter. Easy mistake to make. All in all, the service was prompt, generous food portions, and a little surprise of a tot of limoncellonat the end of the meal. I will definitely return, but a word of advice – if you order calzone, ensure that you ask for the extras to be INSIDE the pizza for the avoidance of any doubt as well as to prevent a soggy heap of dough arriving on your plate!
Great food! Lovely location. Staff didn't give you enough time to look over the menu and decide what to order.
