We took my husbands parents here as they are staying with us. They are from the south and have only been to Durham once before so wanted to take them somewhere to show the best parts of Durham. I have been going here with my family for years, actually decades! We love the food here. As I’m a vegetarian, it’s good to have a range of really good dishes. We all have many dishes to choose from. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. It’s a very nice, relaxed atmosphere. Always worth a trip. I take all visitors here as it’s a guaranteed good meal. Highly recommended.

Great food, and a pleasant atmosphere in the heart of Durham city: house wine is very drinkable, and a bargain as well. Good cauli and potato side dish.
