Who’s up for some superlatives? Shaka Zulu at The Stables Market is Europe’s largest South African
Restaurant. They don’t stop short at serving you the most elaborate South African cuisine. They go
further. They go all the way to putting you into the country itself. Camden’s Shaka Zulu is – to put
it bluntly – a very special place. Located between Camden Town and Chalk Farm tube stations, this
restaurant and club caters to everyone who’s taste in spending a night out goes further than just
dining. It’s an homage to South African culture and tradition – and makes for a fantastic place to
meet up with friends and colleagues.
Being award winners in numerous prestigious awards, the Shaka Zulu in Camden offers a never- before-seen interior. Planning for a special occasion? There are two private dining areas that seat up to 80 and 120 people respectively. The bar may be hired for a private function. There is also a disabled access with a lift between floors and a disabled toilet on the lower floor. Please come by and enjoy an unforgettable time at the Shaka Zulu.
It was an experience at Shaka Zulu. Can be a bit pricey even with a voucher. Not much SA food on the voucher menu. But food was good and staff very friendly.
Unexpected beautiful huge place! On the top of the list with my favourite restaurants since then:) Such a dramatic interior design and food is really nice!
We had an amazing Easter Sunday meal - there were 7 of us in a booth. The atmosphere was brilliant! We spent Easter here 2 years ago & loved it then & enjoyed it even more this time. They had a lot of added extras in terms of great entertainment for the diners with lovely dancers in fantastic zebra costumes gliding around (in keeping with the restuarants African theme) a great juggler; children also had their own play area & were being entertained downstairs by the General Manager & his team & given Easter Eggs! The food was great!!!! Large Sunday lunch portions & other more exotic options, which my brother choose. We were made to feel so welcome by all & we could just take our time to enjoy the atmosphere & eachothers company. It was a wonderful Easter Sunday afternoon! Thankyou to the harding fantastic & hard working team there!!!! We will all come again :) To note the restaurant is huge & spread over 2 floors with the most amazing interior!
