Great service! Delicious, made after ordering for extra freshness, food. We had Cream of Onion soup starter, Shepherds Pie & Quiche special for main & Black Currant Cheesecake for dessert. All hit the spot!

Comfortable, friendly staff, delicious food with a good choice and focus on British classics with a twist. Good value set lunch but prices aren’t eye watering anyway. For me a great local which I should go to more often.

A wonderful welcome from bar manager Goran, and superb attentive but unintrusive service. We had the specials which were excellent. We enjoyed a very relaxed evening - not our first visit, and we will be back!

Excellent old fashioned straight forward service, excellent all round, food, wine and who would not want Welsh rarebit to complete the evening? also not expensive.
