The Duke of Sussex in South Bank is a cosy community pub with a whole lot of character located at a prime location in South Bank. Part of the Hippo Inns group, this stylish and homely spot on Baylis Road offers simple British food centred packed with flavour and plenty of drinks, of course. The signature dish on offer is The Duke’s charcoal chicken which is spit-roasted over charcoals and served with watercress, grilled lemon and your choice of fries or salad. Charcoal grilled dishes feature heavily on the menu here, and you’ll also find charcoal grilled fish and duck as well as British classics such as ale-battered haddock; Scotch beef burger and pork and leek sausages with mash. Perfect for private dining, Sunday roast and catching up with mates, we can’t recommend this London pub and restaurant enough. So book a table at The Duke of Sussex in Waterloo now.

Nice pub. V busy. Quite loud music inside to try to have a meal around. Food ok.
Reservation seamless, good comfort food, great red wine. Would definitely recommend a visit!
lovely evening - thought the helpings could have been a bit more generous as quite pricey for a pub but overall very good. I don't drink wine myself but my friend said the wine, though gorgeous was REALLY expensive
