Excellent Kerala food (with a few alternative menu choices). Food arrived promptly (prepared by a Kerala chef) and was tasty. However wasn’t as spicy as food in Kerala.
One of our favourite local restaurants that we come regularly. Very friendly staff with good service. Food is always delicious and never disappoint. Highly recommended!
Service was a bit slow although it was a Saturday night and quite busy. My Jalfrezi was hotter than expected but Honey Prawn and starter was excellent.
Good food and flavoursome. All the curries had a kick to them. but all the better to contrast against the delicious lemon rice. Large portions so don't over order on the rice! My only comment would be to refine the service of the drinks - allow guests to add the T to the G!
The place was packed and as usual the food was excellent and the service friendly. We loved the beef dish, the only beef on the menu and the aubergine vegetarian one.
Super as always. Lovely staff, great food. Our guests simply loved the meal - but everyone always does. It would be worth the owners investing in improvino the washrooms. Otherwise fab. We ate and drank royally for £22:each. Have paid more for indifferent or poor Indian food.
This is not the first time I have been to Shilpa, but as usual, the food is delicious. I would recommend the following dishes: Chicken 65; Aattirachi Varattiyathu and Chicken Tikka Masala, they are my favourite of the night! :)
Good food.nice atmosphere & very welcoming staff.we had a baby in our party & the staff did loads to accommodate him.like chocolates & mango lasso when food was a bit spicy.very tolerant
Service was a bit disordered but charming. Genius cook - I had the fish curry: I think I would class it as the gold standard.
The restaurant specialises in southern/Keralan cuisine. It is truly special with varied flavours and textures. We had one meat dish, a fantastic fish curry with mango and veggy thoran with rice and naan. Charming service and amazing value.
Tasty food and good service, but on the internet site is written that the lunch costs around £3,50. But this is the price for the take-away menu, this is not very clear. The real price is okay for the meat quantity.
We never had a bad experience here. The food is always delicious and the service friendly and professional. The aubergine dish is fantastic! Thank you :)
Exellent food. Nice atmosphere. Pretty small place. No more of 15 tables. Very good quality of food at afordable price. Good service. May be a bid slow because of the take away calls
A little gem! Lovely food, great service, and all at very reasonable prices. Coped well with a party of 12. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.
It was our first time there and the food was absolutely delicious. Slightly disappointed with the green salad because it only consisted of sliced cucumber, shredded carrots and onions. Great service given. Didn't have to wait long for food.
Definitely one of the best Indian restaurant in Ravenscourt Park. We have been regulars for several years now, the food is always great and the service excellent.
Excellent friendly service, food was great and all at a reasonable cost. We could not find anything that could be improved, throughly recommend it to all.
Very clean and warm coloured environment. Foods were served without delay and tasted more than we expected. Everything is very reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again.
Food very nice and freshly cooked. The fish curry was very small portion. Service a bit slow as we went on a Friday afternoon at 1.45pm and we were the only diners but starter took 30 mins to arrive. Would not put us off going again.
It was really a good experience last weekend in the restaurant. The Food is tasty and they serve the Kerala Delicacies with the authentic taste. We had a cake cutting ceremony at last and they helped us to keep it as a surprise to our friend till end. we all would recommend the place for good food and nice ambience.
One of my favourite local restaurants. Very friendly staff with good service. It was hard to decide what to order as everything on the menu is good!
The food was lovely, the service was good and atmosphere was nice too. Overall we had a lovely evening and we would definitely go back again.
Staff very friendly . Food excellent , best curries we have had in a long time . Restaurant had a real buzz , obviously known as good place to eat .
One more time, the food in Shilpa was excellent! The place was packed, the service still very efficient and friendly. Definitely our favourite place in Ravenscourt Park for a good curry and an ice cold beer.
Good food friendly staff. Cosy atmosphere. We have never been to Hammersmith so had no idea what to expect but we were pleased that we had booked this restaurant. We were also surprised how reasonable the prices were.
INCREDIBLE! Every dish was amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. There were four of us and we decided to share 4 curries and 8 sides. We all left full and it was only around £13 per head with all that food.
Delightful. Authentic, delicious Keralan moulee (I had the prawn and my friend had the fish) with delicate appam. Perfectly sized portions to leave a little space for kulfi. Service was attentive and polite without being intrusive. Will be returning and have already recommended to friends.
All of the food was really excellent as was the service. We had a great evening and I will definitely be going back to Shilpa.
Delicious food. Best Biryani I have ever had. All entrees were delicately prepared. Good choice of vegetarian and meat dishes. Lamb was especially good. A memorable meal.
Excellent South Indian food - I'd highly recommend the Aattirachi Varattiyathu and the Konju Pollichathu. Go in a group and order lots so you can sample multiple dishes!
Shilpa is definitely one of our favorite restaurant in Ravenscourt Park! The lamb cooked in coriander sauce is delicious like all the rest to be honest! We'll be back, Thankj you.
Excellent restaurant and delicious food very authentic Kerala cuisine. The service is good truly memorable experience hats off to the chefs. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Once again, the service was great and the food excellent. The lamb cooked in coriander sauce was particularly impressive. We tried different breads, all excellent!!
A small but friendly restaurant with good quality food and interesting menu choices. As a group of four we all enjoyed our meal and will go again.
Very tasty food. Very good service. And the price is quite low. We were 3, we ordered one starter, 4 main dishes and two lassi and overall it cost 42£.
Good food for a good price, we enjoyed everything we tried. Wine not memorable but overall recommended and we will be back.
As always, service is good, one of the best Indian restaurants in the neighbourhood.
We had a lovely meal and the staff were very attentive and the ambiance was enjoyable. The food was delicious. We booked on line and the staff were expecting us and made us feel welcome.
Very friendly service and excellent food. Had not been to this restaurant before but we went there with friends we hadn't seen for years and we all really enjoyed the evening. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good meal without breaking the bank!
Great service. We had a wide selection of vegetarian and meat dishes and they were all good. Perfect for a night out with colleagues or a group of friends.
