I would go back, I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family, and as far as I concerned that is enough of a compliment

Brilliant night, good atmosphere and great service. Waiters very friendly and attentive. Food superb as ever. We are regulars now and will definitely be back. Good venue. 4 of us only £45 and we had plenty so great value too.

good welcome as arrived, service very good and food good value for money. tandori chicken a little salty otherwise very good and will be back again

Great food, good service. Coatbridge's own jewel in the crown !!. Very nice venue and good parking. We were really surprised with price too. Excellent all round

Great food staff great would highly recommend. The only slight issue was felt a little bit rushed after courses but then again it's a busy place. Will definitely be back and great value for money

Restraunt is immaculate, Prices are fantastic and food amazing, the only criticism I would say is you feel slightly rushed through your meal as continually asked if finished but overall would highly recommend

Good food, higjly recommend the rogan josh, great prices, under £20 each and we were stuffed, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Never fail to be satisfied at the Shimla.

Great food and great prices and nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. We haven't been for a long time but will definitely be back.

From when i walked into the Shimla Cottage until i left was an amazing experience the decor was lovely the background music was just right the lighting was perfect and for the meal in itself was absolutely amazing and the price was even better if i had to be critical i would say i didnt like the way they kept coming to the table and asking if everything was ok and if you wanted more drink i will definately be back in fact i have found my new Indian place to eat

Delicious food, freshly made nan bread was mouthwatering, fantastic service, very attentive, great prices for a good featured menu, what more do you need not to visit?

The service was very slow but the food was excellent. Waited a while on our starter and then had ages to wait on our main.

Food is excellent,great choice and it all presents and tastes fresh, lovely surroundings, very pleasant and helpful staff. Also the best draft beer in the shire 😁

I love dining here as the food and choice is great The staff are always very welcoming and the decor of the restaurant is comfortable

The staff and food were lovely only thing was it was very cold ut otherwise lovely evening thanks to all the staff . We will definitely be back just wearing warmer clothes lol

Not as good as a year ago, went downhill. The Bill was not broken down making it difficult when paying as a large group. Was handwritten on several bits of paper that you couldn't read. Waiter was quite annoying telling the same joke over and over again. Shared platter has reduced in size since previous visit and the curries didn't taste of much flavour. Good but nothing special.

Definitely need a reservation for a Friday night. Restaurant was packed. Felt that the tables were crammed together. Service was slightly on the slow side but they were very busy. Food was tasty and very reasonably priced.

Food good, everything was a bit rushed . Attentive serving staff. We we're asked if we booked through Quandoo and felt we were treated not as well as others. I would go back again as the food was good...takeaway maybe ?

Reason for a two . Is . . One tables too close . . . Table had not been changed . Table cloth was soiled and stained . . . Music just a little to loud .

First time in restaurant. The service was great from when we arrived I.e taking wet brolly s. Food first class except for starter don't know if we got full portions.

went for the first time and wasn't sure as had read mixed reviews on Facebook but I am so glad I did! Service was very quick and the food was lovely, especially the garlic nan and the desserts! 3 courses for 4 people with drinks only came to £70, well worth the money.

the food was beautiful and the service was polite and professional. I will defo be back and bring the rest of my family as they will love it 2.

The meal was lovely place itself was cold we went around 4.30 pm to many waiters walking up@down . asking how was your meal , by the time you answered them your meal was cold . Would i go back yes
