Shireen's

Already swayed by the lovely fact that the restaurant is named after the friendly owner Jay’s daughter, Shireen’s is one of Walsall and Aldridge’s favourite South Asian restaurants thanks to its relaxed approach to delicious dining. The selection of traditional Indian cuisine here is exceptional, with numerous dishes represented on an extensive a la carte menu plus an amazing gourmet five-course dinner option at an incredibly low price that serves as a great introduction to what’s on offer. We back the chef’s recommendations wholeheartedly, with Shireen’s sizzling special offering up a spectacle of herb -and spice-marinated king prawns cooked in the tandoor, the flame-grilled Jaipuri lamb chops and the Zameri hash (barbecued duck with an orange-flavoured sauce, if you were wondering) making their way to the top of our list. Centrally located on the High Street, Shireen’s is a must-book restaurant.
