About Shri Bheemas - Edinburgh

Nicholson Street in Edinburgh’s historic Old Town district is the lucky home to one of the UK’s best and most loved Indian restaurants, Shri Bheemas. With several locations, their Edinburgh restaurant is testament to the love the family team behind Shri Bheemas has for their guests. With a commitment to serving authentic cuisine inspired by traditional cooking methods, their menu is extensive, creative and without a doubt, delicious. We love starting with some paneer pakora, chilli chicken and punjabi samosa to share, before the main event of paneer butter masala dosa, goan lamb vindaloo or for the spice lovers, the hot madras in thick coconut and tomato sauce is a perfect choice. We do advise booking ahead though, as this Indian delight has a strong following.

Different curry options than the typical curry house. Menu would benefit from describing each dish. Food and service good. Very quiet when we were in so not much atmosphere. Russ Abbott wouldn't like it.
