We’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years, but since the change in ownership/management, the quality has gradually declined. The pizzas just aren’t the same as when Stefan was the head chef, and the service — particularly from the female waiting staff — has become less welcoming. I really hope things improve, as this place benefits from being the only restaurant in the area that locals rely on.

Great food, great value, as always. One of the waiting staff was surly but the others really friendly. I think she was new so maybe nervous.

We had a reservation for a group of people to dine at Signor Ciccio at 1.45pm after an event. Unfortunately it took longer than expected to get from the event to the restaurant as traffic was really heavy and we were arrived at the restaurant at 2.30pm. They called on the way and I apologised and say we were on our way. They were really good at keeping our reservation as many restaurants wouldn’t so we fully recognised that. However, service was so bad that it felt we were being punished for being late. It took more than 20 mins to be given menus, after ordering drinks took more than 15 minutes to arrive (or at least some of the drinks arrived and we had to ask for the missing ones) so we were sat for nearly 40 mins by the time we had anything in front of us. Bear in mind the children were hungry and grumpy by then. They seemed very disorganised, drinks were wrong, we ordered first and main meals and by the time the mains arrived we weren’t hungry anymore as had eaten all the bread on the table ! It wasn’t a good experience at all. Such a shame , it really did feel like they were treating us badly for arriving late. There was a person in our party who goes there often and she was gobsmacked by how we were treated.

We asked twice for glasses for the water but they weren't provided. Had to walk up to the waitress to ask again. Waited an hour for our pizzas. I received the pizza that I had ordered the other one brought at the same time was incorrect. There was no apology and we waited for the correct pizzas to be brought. In the meantime an other table was served before us and it was obvious that ordered, delivered pizzas were being prioritised We have had many great meals with you but am now wondering if it is worth coming back.

Really lovely food (pizza, pasta, starters…) and a warm welcome by the team there. We went as a group of 10, from grandparents to the most recent addition to the family and the manager made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant atmosphere was ideal too - relaxed, professional and happy. An ideal family evening out, thank you!

Great for a evening out. There is a good choice of food and wine, and the food is amazing. The service can be a little slow on a busy night, but not bad. Would definitely recommend.

The pasta dishes are unique. Very tasty and well- presented.
