This is not Indian eating as you know it. Sindhu Restaurant brings serious fine dining to Marlow at their elegant waterside venue at Compleat Angler, just on the Bisham side of Marlow Bridge. Sindhu is the brainchild of star chef Atul Kochhar, who seems to be able to balance time-tested traditional techniques with cutting-edge contemporary creation without breaking a sweat. Sindhu Restaurant is relaxed and fuss-free, but the meal you receive will be unforgettable. Sindhu are particularly renowned for their pristine desserts: exquisite compositions that look too good to disturb by eating (don’t worry, temptation will quickly break through that). The brilliant menu boasts much more than sweet treats, though, and everything from heartwarming stews to zingy accompaniments are just as memorable. Atul Kochhar’s Sindhu is a true Marlow treasure and certainly no undiscovered secret, so bookings are strongly recommended.
