Singh's - Market Street

We used a Groupon for a 3 course meal. Firstly, the poppadoms and chutney are counted as a first course. The chutney had no lime pickle - one contained simply chopped onion. This was disappointing to say the least. Also, we were told that we could not have the mushroom or special rice on the Groupon - both of these facts are not explicitly stated on the Groupon. Also, the 'two portion' single bowl of pelau rice was simply not enough. They also had no mango lassi. When we asked for the bill, we waited for ages for them to return with the card machine (the restaurant was not busy) and in the end went over to them ourselves. The main was good quality, but overall a little disappointing.

Excellent value for money, delicious authentic Indian cuisine in relaxed environment, service second to none, went for romantic evening and enjoyed every minute, waiting staff very attentive

Very nice personal touch, good food, different menu from your usual Indian places. Careful if you have a sensitive palate. Mild here means spicy ! !

Booked early meal on New Years Eve. Service was very good, food was great and well presented. This is the 4th time we have dined at Singh's and we will certainly use it again.

Disappointed after our last visit. Waiter too busy with job applicants so seated myself, was not informed of Theatre Deal, and although service improved, I should have been asked if I wanted honey drizzled all over my Kulfi before it arrived.

Great service, friendly staff fantastic food! The meal turn around was fast but not pushy. Great range of dishes and drinks. The restaurant is nicely situated near the centre of the city.
