lovely food and atmosphere, the waitress was very kind and apologised for the noisy table next to us
The restaurant didn’t have my booking. They then sat us at the back of the reaturant which was not heated. The service was okay but the staff weren’t as apologetic about the situation as they should of been, if anything they looked down on you a bit. Food was lovely but again; service and settings let it down
The whole family love it here. My 2 daughters adore the buddha bowls. Super service, delicious food, lovely ambiance. Would not hesitate to recommend. 12 out of 10.
At Brighton’s SIX, the intimate dining room decorated with with a dried flower feature light up with led lights is the provides the perfect backdrop to a special meal, while the more casual brasserie-style area is the ideal setting for a casual lunch or some cocktails in the evening. Champions of organic produce, SIX create each dish from scratch using honest and high-quality ingredients, making it a favourite among Brighton’s health conscious, vegans and discerning foodies alike. The seafood is specially sourced from sustainable suppliers, the meat and poultry comes from small family-run farms, and the fruit and vegetables are grown organically in Kent and delivered to the restaurant fresh each day.
Begin your meal at Hove’s SIX with some freshly made soup of the day, the goat’s cheesecake or some organic fritters, before moving on to your main. From fresh seafood like the seabass allo zafferano (wild seabass fillet with white wine-capers-saffron velouté, organic purple potato and asparagus) to confit de canard, burgers, pastas, salads and an array of vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes like the organic hot buddha bowl, there’s something to suit all tastes and dietary requirements on the menu. For something lighter at lunchtime, tuck into something from the boulangerie menu like the croque monsieur or avocado treat (smashed avocado on toasted sourdough bread with lemon and black pepper with or without a poached egg). Pair your meal with some juice or mylk from 42juice, or at nighttime, head on over to SIX on Western Road in Hove and indulge in cold-pressed cocktails shaken up by the time of mixologists, organic wines and craft beers.
