The food at skewer house was good but on the night we went the service spoilt it(24/9/19)! The waitress was pleasant but she needs a lot more training in how to serve at tables.also our food came out at different times and sides we had to ask and wait for. Other people in the restaurant on another table said that they had never known the service like that as it was normally very good!!!!! May try again.

The food was excellent; however the service let it down. We were a large group of 12, there were a few issues with the wrong orders coming out which we had to send back. At one point we heard an angry voice from the kitchen shout "urgh what's wrong now!?" which we thought was slightly rude. We had to remind the waiting staff a few times for things we had ordered but were waiting on. I would try Skewer House again but maybe in a smaller group.

We had a fantastic meal and as a table of 9, 3 children, the food and service was amazing!! You went out of your way with sparklers on our cake and a huge cocktail for my mum and dads wedding anniversary. Thank you so much we’ll be back very soon. X

Very disappointed in the service and quality of the food considering how expensive their prices are. The meat on the skewers came out burnt. The garden table that we sat at was dirty. Food was served to us on the uncleaned table even after asking to have it cleaned. There were no serviettes, we had to walk to the toilet to get some tissues. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone .

Food was lovely but it came out in parts and sauces were last, which is a shame. Meats were a little cold when sauces arrived. Sangria Prosecco was delicious. Would come again as service was better last time I went, and food is very good.

We did have to wait along time for our drinks and food order to be taken until we asked young blonde waitress if we could order our food then everything come out lovely most of the food was amazing would defiantly recommend this was our 1st time of coming so will defiantly be back

We went here to celebrate our anniversary. The food, service, ambience was all excellent. We will definately return. Great value for money too!

I booked for my birthday as had been with one friend before n had a great time including deserts. At the time had a feeling the boss was about. The food was good, the service slow but seemed not to be the fault of the waitresses but the organisation. Drinks were slow coming, my husband wanted a beer n was not asked what n was finally brought a lager when he would’ve wanted a real ale but took so long put up with it. After Olives n one persons starter (only 4 of us) had been delivered, 15 mins later we were asked if we had finished our starters n we said not received the majority, then we were asked again n were told our other starters had gone to another table, but eventually got our starters n they were good. Then we received our mains which were good. Two of us had the house special which included deserts, we asked 3 times for the desert menu & when it didn’t come went looking n were told they didn’t do desserts but there was a great big cake on display. We waited a further half hr for deserts that were included in our house special price n for coffees n had no response so asked for a discount n paid n left. Such a shame to have to struggle for attention, especially on a special occasion, I felt bad to have my special friends disappointed when I’d invited them for my birthday. another couple left n told us they didn’t get their mains. The food was lovely, the experience disappointing.

Booked a table for 13.00pm the restaurant was not open. We waited till 14.00 and still the restaurant wasn't open. We was very disappointed.

Great food and great price. Service, however, was very slow as there only appeared to be 1 girl waiting on and it was a pretty busy lunchtime.

We went to the skewer house for our 8th wedding anniversary & we both agreed afterwards we made the right choice. The food was absolutely delicious, the music was perfect with the atmosphere, the price wasn’t very good too. We will definitely be back.

Reasonably full for a Tuesday. Meat skewers were very good but underwhelmed by the side dishes and desserts.

Lack of vegetarian option as fish choice was limited - no tuna or salmon as is usual. Everything else was great
