Sorrento Italian Restaurant

As always the atmosphere at Sorrentos was busy and buzzing with happy diners. An extensive menu and specials board gave us plenty of variety and choice.

Nice welcome and friendly staff. Pasta main courses were very good although prawns in my dish were sparse and would have been better described as shrimps. Puddings on the other hand were disappointing cheesecake and banoffee pie seemed cheap shop bought and tarted up on the plate.. prices very good though.

First visit to Sorrento for a birthday lunch. Since it was January, and a lunchtime, our party had the restaurant to ourselves. The temperature of the room could have been a little warmer. Everyone enjoyed their food. We thought the lunch menu deal was good value. Will visit again.

Love this restaurant - food is fabulous and consistently good. The service is really great and I really recommend this restaurant to anyone - we will always be back

Excellent food. First class service..great atmosphere. Will definatley return. Every dish was very tasty, mussles, sardines, mushroom rissoto, fillet steak with pate / bread base. Excellent Pinot Grigio. Attentive front of house

great night as always in sorrentos, good food ,attentive staff,friendly management all at a reasonable price! Whats not to like? Will return in the near future, keep up the good work !

Food was excellent, service was great, but terribly cold in the restaurant and we had to put on our coats. There was obviously a problem with the heaters, which was overcome eventually, but it did taint an otherwise lovely evening. Would’ve been a nice touch to have offered a complimentary coffee or similar as it was clear we were uncomfortable. But I would return (with more layers)

Quandoo booking system worked perfectly. Attentive staff? YES, very. Good range of alternatives if you don't want Pizza. But we did want Pizza, and the quality didn't match up to our favourite in Gloucester. We'll try again in 12 months.

We booked table for 8 & all enjoyed our food and service from staff. Great start to our Xmas festivities. Would recommend and looking forward to next visit in the New year😀👍

We visited this restaurant today for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately our dining companions couldn’t come at the last minute,so we will book another date hoping they will be able to join us. Janet Hale

Good food and good service. Wide choice on the menu. I've had pizza on previous visits and enjoyed it so this time had one of the fish dishes on offer and enjoyed that too.
