Source has lovely food and atmosphere. There were Lots of options for my vegan friend and the waitress was really accommodating. I can't recommend enough.

Sophisticated atmosphere with prices you would expect at such a place

Great food, great atmosphere and great service! We were staying one night in York and wanted a place to eat dinner with our family if five that was walkable from our hotel. Very happy with our choice!

Stunning! 2nd time at this wonderful restaurant and it once again proved a winner. Perfect for a veggie and meat-eating couple! A must visit restaurant for anyone who loves and appreciates good quality food.

Lovely, casual atmosphere and delicious food. Pulled jack fruit was great, especially the corn bread. My partner said the meat was cooked perfectly. Little expensive for a lunch but perfect for an evening meal out.

Interesting menu with plenty of choice. Service and atmosphere good too. Really enjoyable Saturday lunch - will be back. Only down side on this occasion was a large group of diners that overwhelmed the restaurant in terms of volume and space.

Lovely food, very nice staff, and a treat for vegetarians while still having great selection of meaty stuff. One of the few places to offer free-range chicken too.

Really friendly staff, food was lovely but waited nearly an hour for it to arrive. I ordered the mix tray which was tasty, but a little on the small side. My girlfriend had a mushroom which she said she enjoyed. We would like to return, but probably give a Saturday a miss just because of the wait for food.

Great service from welcoming staff made the evening. For the best ambience recommend to request seating away from kitchen when booking. Slow cooked beef and pulled chicken trays were fine but not remarkable. A tad overpriced.

Lovely food, very pleasant service, we were surprised that we were the only ones dining but the weather was awful . We would go again.

The food at Source was excellent. It had a good atmosphere and was just a lovely restaurant. The staff were friendly too. Would definitely come again.

Food ok jackfruit too artificially spiced the food description on the menu is better than the food itself. Atmosphere affected in middle of restaurant by insufficient extraction of the kitchen area; go for a seat in the front if you can. Really lovely helpful service.

Fabulous food in a lovely setting. The whole baked cauliflower in tomato sauce with almonds was a triumph as was my co- diner's mushroom burger. Great atmosphere run by lovely people!

Although this is mainly a smokehouse style menu there is a lovely selection of vegetarian options. We found the staff helpful and the venue very child friendly. We will come again.

Visited with my daughter & her partner who are both vegetarians. There was plenty of choice for them & for meat eaters you gave a choice of slow cooked beef, pork or lamb. I had the pork which was absolutely melt in your mouth delicious. The restaurant has a very relaxed, friendly vice. Service was very good withot being intrusive. Would not hesitate to recommend.

A very enjoyable experience. The Vegan chicken was excellent - so much flavour packed into a vegan dish! Also enjoyed the 48 hour beef that melted in your mouth.

Lovely food, we had the chicken and pulled port trays and the portion size was perfect. Staff friendly and helpful. Warm friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Awesome place. Really nice staff, really responsive Great food selection for all dietary requirements. Place is cosy and not too large. Can see the chef's doing their thing in an open kitchen. Will go back for sure.

Good well presented food with a great choice for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Dessert choice was a bit limited so we skipped that but overall an enjoyable experience
