About Spaghetti Tree

Dear diners, please be aware that on Fridays and Saturdays, tables reserved between 6pm and 7pm must be vacated by 8:20pm. Please also note that reservations for six people or more must be made at least 24 hours in advance. A £10 deposit per person is also required in this instance.

Far from an endangered species but with only one pair in the wilds of Greater London, the Spaghetti Tree family are distinct Italian restaurants, each imparting a particular flavour. Here, at Spaghetti Tree Sutton, the atmosphere is that of a cosy Italian trattoria: smaller, more intimate, but offering the same traditional and affordable Italian cuisine as its twin in Walton-on-the-Hill. Home-style cooking is the order of the day here, whether you book in for the set lunch – always popular among workers local to Spaghetti Tree’s premises at the Station Parade end of Brighton Road – or the a la carte menu.

Further Information

Spaghetti Tree occupies an enviable position in Sutton, right on Station Parade where Brighton Road turns into the High Street. With such a central location, it’s no wonder that this Italian restaurant has become a default destination for many in this corner of Greater London. No restaurant, however, no matter how conveniently placed, could succeed if it failed to offer superlative food. Spaghetti Tree is no exception, perfectly balancing a modern approach to Italian cuisine with the traditions demanded of any decent Italian trattoria-style eatery worth its smoked salt.

Sampling the perennially popular set lunch menu is a good way to get acquainted with this family-run Sutton Italian restaurant. Choose from deep-fried mozzarella parcels on a bed of Arrabiata sauce or the stuffed and baked mushrooms with minced meat, spinach, mozzarella and tomato sauce to start. Classic Italian mains like chicken breast cooked in a creamy mushroom and white wine sauce or the salmon fillet doused in a sauce of brandied cream and mushrooms, baby prawns and tomato are hearty dishes that are sure to satisfy. Finish with desserts made daily at Spaghetti Tree’s Station Parade premises and be sure to book in for a full evening of a la carte dining soon.

Excellent food and service and the price is right. I highly recommend to stop by for a meal if you are in the neighbourhood. Just book at least a day in advance as they are very busy.

My friends and I went for a meal at the Spaghetti Tree in Sutton on Friday night and booked on line using Quandoo. The staff were lovely and very attentive and the food was good quality. However, as the evening proceeded we were aware that a singer was setting up to entertain the customers. The Manager came over to remind us that we needed to leave by 8.45pm as there were two sittings. We were not informed of this when booking with Quandoo and our evening was cut unexpectedly short when we were told people were waiting for our table. We felt very uncomfortable and disappointed by the fact we knew nothing about this and the way it was handled by the Manager. The restaurant is very nice but we will not be returning due to the way it was handled. Please be aware of this if you are booking this restaurant on a Friday night.

We've been going to The Spaghetti Tree now for many years, and can honestly say that the food, Service, ambience, & value for money are always fantastic. Danny & his team do a marvellous job, and work really hard to satisfy their customers. THE best Italian restaurant for miles !!!

Lovely atmosphere. Food was very nice and the waiter attentive. The only down side was that once we had finished are main we were then offered tea or coffee and told our table would be needed in ten minutes. We had been there an hour and a quarter and were not told that we had to give the table back at a certain time. We would have certainly had dessert had we not had to leave. It was our first visit and my parents were staying and they were dissapointed by the experience as up until that point we had all throughly enjoyed it.

Spaghetti Tree is the best Italian restaurant around. There's always a warm welcome and excellent food. It's a really cosy trattoria with beautifully painted murals on the walls. We have been going there for many years and have never been disappointed.

A group of four of us had a lovely lunch at Spaghetti Tree. The food was very tasty and fresh and service great. 5/6 scored as the chairs are a bit uncomfortable and the window seating area chilly in winter.

This is a lovely cosy Italian restaurant near to the centre of Sutton with great food and very friendly service. The portions are generous and we have been coming here for years and will continue to do so as it is great value for money. Please go as you won't be disappointed and small family run restaurants need to be supported as much as possible.

An amazing night all round, staff were extremely friendly and very accomadating, we had a very small baby with us which was in a carry cot and the staff even changed the layout of the resteraunt to facilitate the carry cot. Food was out of this world I reccomend the lamb shank and the rib eye steak, will definitley be eating there again.

This was our second visit to the restaurant and once again the food and service was excellent. The waiters gave us the value of their opinions and we weren't disappointed. We all took our starter from the specials board and our mains from the main menu. The four was freshly cooked and delicious.

This is a small authentic looking restaurant, a little too cramped around the table. I was in a group of 5 with mixed views on the quality of the food, on the whole I would say it was average. there is a good range of options on the menu. I was not happy about a couple of things: the waiters seemed to hover around our table for the duration and an automatic service charge was added to the bill.

Spaghetti Tree continues to maintain its high standards. Warm welcome, authentic ambience and huge portions set the scene for our Valentine's Day meal. We'll be back!

This was our second visit to spaghetti tree, the food is second to none...the only downside to this visit was one of the waiters was rushing around, missed taking our complete orders for the starters,in my opinion there was no need to rush around as all the other staff were taking g their time and making conversations with customer's,it's a shame this 1 member of staff spoilt the night, but that said we will still return without a doubt
