The food was tasty. The portions were very small compared to the price. It’s a bit expensive place to dine in. Staffs were polite.
Nice curry, friendly staff. Would gladly go again and recommend
Great food and great service. It's become our go to place to eat out with visiting friends or family.
absolutely amazing . Definitely will be back . Railway lamb curry is the best
Very efficient service. Great food. Probably best Chicken Tikka Labadaar I have eaten - and I have eaten lots! We booked but didn't look like we needed to as there were only a couple of tables occupied by 7pm
Staff were lovely, food was lovely, and the restaurant was really nicely decorated.
Great food. Great ambiance. Great service. Will definitely eat here again
Always love you place. We were a large group but nothing was an issue for the staff
Absolutely lovely experience will definitely visit again. Great food and staff were lovely!
A very welcoming service and great food worth waiting for!
Their so called buffet wasn’t good. No real curries nothing if you weren’t a lover of very spicy food. 4 had to have al a carte as there was nothing that they could eat. No mango chutney on the buffet table either. Won’t be returning
We had a lovely meal here will visit again staff lovely food amazing really lovely experience.

wasn't the best buffet. the salad was brown and soggy. The chicken was quite fatty. wouldn't go again

Thank you for warm team. Food was great, athmosphere pleasant. We spent amazing evening with my husband for his bday.
Excellent food, service, ambiance and all round value for money?
Read good reviews about this restaurant and certainly wasn't disappointed. Lots of choice backed up with great food and friendly service. Would definitely recommend
No highchair never been to a restaurant that doesn’t have them for this reason wouldn’t return. We found the food ok & service average.
Great choice of food, very tasty. Staff were very friendly.
A group of 12 of us ate at the Spicy Tadka on thurs 11th Jan '24. this was pre-booked and agreed that each couple could have a separate tab for making payment. This was then changed to each couple paying at the time of ordering. Which was fine, but confusing to arrange with the language barrier. We ordered poppadoms and they were clearly not freshly made. The chutneys were really odd and like nothing we have had an an indian restaurant before. A mint sauce, a chilli 'something' we thought maybe beetroot and a paste that we 'think' was mango chutney. Only 2 of these 3 tiny pots were served for 12 of us. Actually, we didn't like them, so that was fine, but on first arrival, we though this was stingy. A few of us had the onion bhaji's as starters. They were clearly not freshly cooked. Hard, dry and luke warm. no side salad which is also unusual and made the presentation just 2 balls of onion look odd. I asked for Chicken Rhogan Josh. When it was served I was told that's what I was given. So I put it onto my mushroom rice, took a spoonful and it nearly blew my head off! my eyes were watering and my cheeks went pink. Everyone found that very amusing. Then we realised that I had been given my partners Chicken Naga! so we swapped plates. I ended up with his bland and bright yellow Pilau Rice and the runniest Rhogan Josh ever. No tomatoes or onion identifiable. 3 tiny pieces of chicken. My partner said his was nothing like a naga either. Just a very hot and runny curry. As soon as we got home my partner said he didn't feel well. He has now been up all night sick, sweating and with a very upset tummy. So all in all, a dreadful meal! we won't be going back there.
First time we've ever been, the naan bread was the best we've ever had, our curries were amazing, so tasty and the staff were lovely. 10/10 😄
service was slow dishes not as nice as previous visits
Great food, friendly attentive staff. Would go back there soon. Thanks
If you like Indian food, you'll live it here. Visit!
We made an early booking, as we were going to the theatre. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, and lots of it. We will definitely go again and spend more time there.
Really disappointed with the quality of food in view of the awards this restaurant has, plus service was slow and not particularly friendly or welcoming. Won't be going back.
Great food, really tasty. The main let-down was the amount of pickles/sauces provided with the poppadoms...for 4 healthy-appetite blokes, the 3 little pots of sauce were way-too small. Otherwise, fabulous place.
The food was really nice, but the length of time to get our food was very long, it was hard to get staff's attention and our starters were brought out at different times. One of the starters was missing so after waiting ages we managed to get someone to bring one out to us, but we were then charged extra for that starter. It was rectified eventually, but the service needs to be raised to be in line with the lovely food.
All very nice. A bit tight for space. Only thing that needs looking at, their chose of wine. Their Tempranillo was dreadful.
Delicious food and friendly staff. We would go again. Thanks
Friendly, efficient, great food customised to our liking. Overall excellent!
We've been here before, but there is now a revised menu. There was helpful advice from the staff. We really enjoyed our choices which were served with a friendly smile and prompt service
Lovely food and great service too, staff were very pleasant and chatty too
Very good 👍 👏 👌 😀 ☺️ 🙌 nice 👌
Excellent food, excellent service and a good price. Went for the Diwali buffet so eat as much as you like for a set price. Tried food that I wouldn't normally try - some I liked, some I didn't but that's the joy of a buffet (took a tiny bit if things I didn't know and went back for more of those that I liked - can't bear waste).
Good portions but sag also a bit runny and the vindaloo not very spicy. Still enjoyable but will order something else next time.
Children were happy, it was quiet, perfect . . .
Service could not be better, very focused and wanting to please, felt they really cared about you. Excellent variety of foods, some of which were new to us. Environment was very welcoming and relaxed and not noisy. Will definitely visit again.
Great service and superb food - enjoyed so much, we’ve booked again the week after!!
