Stein’s Knightsbridge, or Stein’s Berlin Restaurant as many will know it, is the latest addition to what is one of the most popular groups of German restaurants in London. It’s a modern, elegant dining space inside a Kensington Grade II listed building featuring a gorgeous terrace overlooking Princes Gardens. At Stein’s Knightsbridge, unlike at other Stein’s restaurants, you can expect exquisite food and drink from all over Germany rather than just from Bavaria. We, and indeed most others in this famous part of London, fight it completely irresistible. Everything is imported directly from Germany and whether for breakfast, gourmet coffee & cakes, lunch or dinner, it’s very wise to arrive armed with a reservation.

Was a bit nervous after reading mixed reviews but so glad we went here. Arrived 15 minutes earlier than our booking and were seated quickly. Orders were taken promptly and food arrived in good time. The portions were very generous and food was very tasty. Staff were all very friendly. If I lived nearby this would become a sure favourite!
Awful slow service. Other tables were complaining and some walked out. They also didn’t have our first choice from the menu.
We went for a pre-theatre dinner and a few drinks. The food was lovely and reasonably priced for that area and the service was very good. Would definitely go back!
