The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a great experience. One thing people were concerned about was the tents when it got really windy.

Fresh German food, and in large quantities. Recommend the "Meter of Meat" for groups of 8 or more. German beer is fresh and brewed local using the original recipes.

This place is situated on the Richmond riverside and on a hot night you couldn’t pick a better spot. No indoors though so pick a sunny day. You come here for the somewhat German experience, the food itself is average. Sausages are ok but the mash and the sauerkraut tastes industrial.

Cash only a bit off, and I reserved a table but there was not a table with my name on it. Tables reserved in the shade under umbrellas were occupied nearly 2 hours after our 6pm booking. Otherwise food did not let us down or service. Great venue always a favourite for entertaining guests to uk

Beautiful view on river. Delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. A lovely beergarden, absolutely recommendable. Only downside is that you have to order food when you want to drink beer.

This is the most disorganised, ridiculous set up! We had to queue 1.5 hours to order food and 3 of the 4 of us got our meal. After 1 hour I went to find out where my food was but none of the waitresses had any clue what they were doing. I eventually found the manager who was running the till, to say he was rude would be a compliment! My food eventually came after asking for it another 3 times. It was pork & not chicken as I had ordered and when I took it back to the serving hut the manger just said I was getting my money back!!! The WORST service ever! Figure out a way to make things work in hot weather when you know you will be busy! If you are looking for a fun place to have food & a few drinks with friends avoid this place at all costs. Full of screaming kids and a stroller parking lot! Hideous experience from start to finish.

Excellent service and views, german food is good tasting! Prices a bit steep and in winter or cold days there is no indoor seating so it may be a problem.
