As you walk down the steps into the Stockbridge restaurant you know you’re in for a treat. The restaurant is small and impeccably decorated, which creates a warm but intimate atmosphere. Although it looks like you’re in a fine-dining establishment, the service remains relaxed and unpretentious. The food focuses on local and fresh ingredients but dishes are always given a creative twist, like the duck confit with sauteed potato black pudding or the smoked-haddock risotto. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available, including as a set menu, while Sunday evenings are fantastic value with BYOB. If you want top class cooking and atmosphere without the high prices, then the Stockbridge Restaurant is for you.

A first class restaurant that I would galdly return to.
Excellent from start to finish, lovely food and prices too
Yesterday, 18th January 2020, was my husband’s 75th birthday and we went to Stockbridge Restaurant, for our evening meal, to celebrate. The food could not be faulted, the atmosphere was great, and we had a truly wonderful evening. A huge thank you to all the staff. We will be back very soon.
