About Strut & Cluck
In 2016, Husband and wife team Amir and Limor opened Strut & Cluck on Commercial Street in Spitalfields following a residency at Shoreditch House. Initially showcasing Limor’s free-range turkey and vegetarian dishes, this Mediterranean gem has very quickly risen through the crowded ranks of London restaurants worth talking about. The food is simply sensational, and super healthy, and Strut & Cluck’s venue and location (towards Spitalfields Market from Shoreditch High Street) are ideal. No two London restaurants are alike, but this one feels especially special, so don’t dilly dally – book a table and try Strut & Cluck for yourself!

Inspired by the healthy, hearty Eastern Mediterranean heritage of this Spitalfields star’s owners, the menu at London’s Strut & Cluck down Commercial Street is replete with gorgeous seasonal vegetable dishes, most often grilled, roasted, and full of goodness, or adorned with carefully selected artisan ingredients, as well as plenty of other gourmet protein options. Consider baby squid with crispy kale, cod & chorizo bake, or traditionally Mediterranean lamb koftas or slow cooked lamb on a bed of polenta. The options and flavour combinations seem endless, but you cannot miss no matter what you choose here – really.
This popular Spitalfields restaurant offers unbeatable home-style Mediterranean cooking, right on Commercial Street (Spitalfields Market, Shoreditch High Street and Liverpool Street station are a stone’s throw away), with a delicious weekend brunch menu and impressive range of wines, beers and cocktails to boot! Featuring friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere, this restaurant is an attractive place to enjoy great Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Needless to say, the word on Strut & Cluck is out around London, and bookings are strongly advised at all times.

Lunch & Dinner
Quality middle eastern food combined with great service given we had a large party of people, all ordering the same turkey burger for a Christmas meal.
Great brunch. Came here for the second time as I have previously had a work dinner at this place and absolutely loved the food. We ordered Shakshuka and Pita Paradise this time and it was fantastic. The service was great, we will definitely be back!
Blown. Away. The food is incredible, the ambiance nice and relaxed, staff super helpful and always in a nice mood. Would 100% go back to try more dishes.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Something a little different from the usual menus available in the area. Wheat free chocolate cake was great as was the turkey.
Nice ambiance to the restaurant although a bit cramped. We struggled with both seating space and table space Menu had a good amount of variety particularly for the vegetarian member of our party which was one of our reasons for booking. All dishes were very tasty with the roasted peppers starter being particularly delicious albeit a bit smaller than expected for the cost. This was the general case for most dishes we ordered (slow cook lamb and the roasted cauliflower being two others worth trying): good food but could have done with a bit more in quantity. Turkey wings again were good but could do with deep frying at the end/roasting in high heat to get nice crispy skin rather than the gelatinous finish they currently have. Wine list is ample and the cab/carmenere and Rioja crianza (the latter perhaps over priced at £35) were nice enough. The espresso martinis that two of our table had were very good. All in all a nice experience but I'd recommend trying not to get the high tables with stools (especially the one by the alarm box in the corner) as it's very cramped, particularly for 4
Excellent Experience all round. Friendly greeting on arrival and service was friendly and attentive at all times without being intrusive. Menu is perfectly sized with a good selection of Starters and Mains without swamping you with too much choice. Servers happy to make knowledgeable recommendations if required. Can happily suggest you try the charred cauliflower as a starter as it is hugely better than it sounds. Highlights for the Mains was the Baby Squid and the Ox Cheek. Small but well chosen Wine selection and similar for beers/cider. Best of all is the price. Cannot believe you get all that you get for such a reasonable price point. Please go. You will not regret your decision.
I'm a big fan of Strut & Cluck. You can actually taste the heart and soul of the business in every dish - the people who work there really care. The food is tremendous and the menu selections leave you wanting to eat more than you should.
I loved the whole experience at Strut & Cluck. The venue is cozy without being crammed and the hanging plants made it feel relaxing and modern. The food was great - taste, plating, appearance all were on point. Definitely will go back again!
Excellent table service. Waiters have been careful and professional on food allergies, have given thorough info regarding the menu, and served courses at right intervals. Who smiling, who serious, everybody has been very kind and accurate. 6 stars for them. Food was delicious, some products more some less fresh, but still in London's good bistrot standards. To get satisfied with portions you'll need to order a little bit more. Courses are a bit over priced: I had sea bass, which is always a farmed species, at quite expensive price. You'll be anyway happy cause food is appetizing. Hygiene was the usual you find in London: dishes ok-clean on the surface, a bit less on the back. Finally, I do recommend this place.
American in London in need of a turkey-centred meal to celebrate Thanksgiving and wax nostalgic for home. The service was impeccable and friendly, but the food was the real star- the fall-off-the-bone tender turkey thighs- with roasted veg in a riot of spices and textures. The place is small, charming, sometimes loud, but energised with sounds of happy customers and divine smells. this is a place I will make a point to come back to anytime I'm in London. Highly recommended.
Walking distance from Liverpool Street Station. Able to book online for a table for two within the hour. Very attentive service. Menu explained and recommendations made. Baby Squid as a shared starter (£8) tasty but a little too much batter? Shared mains of Hand pulled turkey Sharwarma (£10.50), Lamb Koftas (£10.50) and 1/4 Charred cauliflower (£5.50) all nice and yummy. A little low on carbs but that is fine for me. I am sure we could have had more pitta bread if we asked. House red a little pricy at £19.50 but this is Spitalfields. £60.75 in total (without tip). Will go again.
This is the sixth time I go or order from Strut & Cluck and it has bee nonce again and as always delicious. Flavours, presentation, quality of the ingredients, atmosphere, ... everything is perfect.
I booked Strut & Cluck for a work lunch with a client. Nice food form usual, but amazing menu. The atmosphere was cosy with a great vibe and we had great service. Would love to go again.
I took a couple of friends along having read good things about the place and wasn't disappointed. Lovely, welcoming staff. Delicious food - nice to try something a little bit different. Great atmosphere. It was a warm day outside and the restaurant was bit on the hot side, but that wasn't enough to spoil our evening.
We absolutely love this place. The food is so unusual and so delicious We had Escalope of turkey, a fish stew and lamb kofta after an array of wonderful starters. The staff are so busy but so lovely and attentive. Can't recommend this place highly enough Can't wait to go back and try something new
Strut & Cluck has a lovely ambience and fresh decor. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was fresh and flavoursome. Will definitely be back!
First class modern, innovative, super healthy cuisine, fabulous cocktails and friendly staff make this one of my favourite places to eat in London currently. And they didn't mind when I asked to take our leavings away in a doggy bag. The char grilled cauliflower went down a treat with the next day's beef.
Yummy food and great service. The waitress recommended us wine which was really good. The only reason for 5 instead of 6 in my score is that the lamb shawarma was slightly dry and could have done with something like a dip. The dessert was amazing, do try the Kadayif nest of vanilla cheescake cream, very fresh and perfect ending to the meal.
I've had some wonderful meals here and recommended the restaurant to friends many times. But this visit was a disappointment. The menu has changed significantly. It's now much more meat based. No problem with that as I'm a carnivore but it does seem to have lost a little of its identity. The dishes we chose were okay but nothing special. Several options had run out (and no olives!) which was odd as we dined early evening. Also had to ask several times for empty glasses to be cleared from out table. All in all a bit meh. Maybe it was a Saturday night thing.
We went in Dec '16 for dinner and really enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the food was great. I would have given it the full 6 marks but I found the escalope main to be a bit too sour for my liking. On the whole, I really liked the idea behind the restaurant and I will definitely visit again.
