Tapas Barcelona

We recommend the lemonade, the chorizo and the padron peppers. However, the sticky chicken was only average, but overall the experience was delightful. Me and my date had a lovely evening.

Visited for my other half's birthday and received great, friendly service. Good atmosphere with an interior in line with the cuisine. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The food was Lovely, freshly cooked, good choice of dishes and r ceived promptly , great atmosphere and good service. God for a couple or group meal

Good friendly service. Portion sizes for Tapas is the best around. Pleasant surroundings, like sitting al fresco in a Spanish town and a good atmosphere, although some Spanish / Latino background music would be even better!

Very good service and staff is friendly. The place is clean and comfortable. Food is great. Big open space makes it feel like you are outside. Had a birthday party there and definately would come back.

First visit to Tapas Barcelona and I would definitely go back. Food was delicious and portion sizes were about perfect for Tapas dishes. I'd say you want 3/4 dishes per person if you like to eat. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you're in Southampton and want some Tapas give here a go.

Great food and service ! Enjoyed a range of tapas all of which were delicious. Had a a cocktail each, which were also well made and presented.

Great food and atmosphere. 2 for 1 cocktails during the week which is a definite bonus. It's a lot bigger on the inside than the outside.

Very nice tapas, lovely flamenco night, thank you. Enjoyable time, good value for money, highly recommended. This was on Thursday night and that is the only reason the place was not entirely full.

The food was fantastic . The service was a little slow, but the staff were very friendly, so that doesn't really matter. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed.

Service was very bad. We had to wait very long time for a food and then somebody to clear our table and nobody even ask if we would like a desert menu, and I wanted a desert but didn't bother at the end as it's was quite late

Delicious food, nice atmosphere and delightful servers. The prawns were absolutely delicious. All of the party enjoyed the themselves in the relaxed ambience of the restaurant.

We usually love dining here but unfortunately on this occasion the service was below par. We waited a very long time for drinks & found the staff to be too busy to assist. Its a shame as every other visit has been fantastic.

Amazing restaurant, the food was lovely and very tasty. Even better we had a voucher so it was free! We will certainly be returning there.

Brought a friend for her birthday, we had great food, fantastic service and amazing cocktails, thoroughly enjoyed our evening, we weren't rushed and were able to spend the whole evening at our table chatting, drinking and eating.

Great food and great cocktails, a very enjoyable date night. Would highly recommend to everyone. The Chilli Squid is definitely the favourite part of the menu.

First time at a tapas place and nicely surprised! Great food and wine selection. You get a lot on each plate for your money and service was great too

Service & food was excellent. Would highly recommend. Two of us had soft drinks as driving, shared a massive plate of olives, bread & dipping oil then had seven plates for £20 drinks & puddings... pre theatre.. lovely.

Somewhat underwhelmed. Booked for early meal, table in a dark corner in an empty room at the back of the restaurant. The service was fairly slow and one of the courses was cold and fatty.

Overall excellent experience - lead waiter / host was fantastic and food scrummy. Only issue was the waiter who delivered the food was a little rude and one order was incorrect but this was rectified immediately with meal not charged for as there was no time to swap it as we were on a deadline for the theatre.

Lovely food lovely atmosphere had a really good time and everyone enjoyed themselves. Only issue was speed of clearing the tables, lots of glasses and empty bowls left for a long time. Would return.

Service was terrible, put in the corner and ignored. We waited half an hour for a bottle of wine and had eaten all our food before it had arrived. We asked 3 times for it to be brought over and got told it was on the way. 3 of our dishes were forgotten and one was a completely didn't dish we did not order but we decided to have it because we were so hungry and just wanted to leave. We have been tapas Barcelona quite a few times and at the moment it's getting worse and worse.

Great cocktails - good variety. The waiter was happy to adjust drinks for my friend who was driving so not drinking. Good variety of lovely tapas brought out as ready :-) Great atmosphere - felt like we were actually in Barcelona!!

Was a surprise birthday meal and table had not been set up, despite me coming down earlier in the day to drop off banner and confetti (with assurances it would be carried out). Put me in a difficult position as I then had to subtlety say to the waiter and he then came out with the banner only. I did not receive the table confetti back and couldn't ask for it as I didn't want my partner (whose birthday is was) to know that anything was amiss. Food was very good and waitresses nice. Waited ages to pay. All had our purses/cards out on the table ready. Numerous staff (including our waiter) casually walked past but seemed more interested in laughing and joking with the staff who had finished their shift and were hanging around at the bar. Not very satisfied which was a shame as previously we had a great time here.

Need a couple more waiters to cope. Waiting times for drinks were too long. But the staff as usual were lovely 😁 no complaints. X
