Tapeo Cafe & Tapas

We've been to Tapeo numerous times - for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food and drink have always been outstanding and the service impeccable. A real gem on Beckenham's high street.

Tasty but pricey for tapas and sangria A bit congested in terms of space . Really small portions I dont think that I will go again.

Very tasty food, good wine and good service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and it was reasonably priced, around £60 for two including a bottle of wine.

I really enjoyed this evening. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious although the dishes are small as they are 'tapas' (kind of nibbles) , the place is cosy. I recommend it 100%. Thank you very much!

This was my first visit to Tapeo and I was very impressed. Tapeo is among the best tapas restaurants I have been to. The menu was extensive and reasonably priced. There were plenty of vegetarian options. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. There was a wide range of wines again at a reasonable price. The service was attentive and friendly. Tapeo was the perfect venue for a pre-cinema meal and I will certainly go again.

Went for lunch with tapas at 2 for 1. Very tasty authentic Spanish and friendly service. Alcoholic drinks a bit pricy but good coffee. We will go there for lunch again.

Really delicious, tasty food, served in great surroundings. Staff always very helpful and attentive and always a nice buzzing atmosphere! The Sangria is especially good!

We were there celebrating our son’s birthday. We had a wonderful meal, the food was well cooked and very tasty. Good tapas & also puddings! Would definitely return.

The food was excellent and different. We had 3 outstanding dishes - the octopus was so well cooked, the pork and the scallops were all really good. All signature dishes and I can understand why.

The range of options was smaller than many Tapas bars but that was good because all appeared fresh and each dish was excellent. Service very attentive without being intrusive.

The food and service were excellent and we were not rushed even though it was a Saturday and the restaurant was busy. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent atmosphere, lovely very well prepared food and the best glass of Sangria this side of Barcelona. The very friendly staff really looked after us too.

The food here is simply outstanding as are the Staff. We have been a number of times and have never been disappointed with any aspect of the food offered or the standards maintained. Brilliant value for money with new dishes appearing on a regular basis. A visit is a must you will soon be hooked like us and become a regular.

Very lovely friendly restaurant. Very accommodation, we rang to say we'd be 30 mins late for our table and had an extra person and this wasn't a problem at all. A great tapas menu. The food was lovely.

Fantastic food and service. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Also very reasonable priced, we had 6 tapas and a bottle of house red which came to £51.00.

The tapas were very good and the almond tart dessert was superb. It was Friday so the place was busy. The tables are quite close together and as it was a fairly warm evening it felt rather airless. To avoid this I will try to go midweek in future. The service was good and friendly.

Great ambience and decor as you walk in, complemented by friendly and efficient service. We started with tomato and bread, prawns and the scallops - all of these were great, prawns beautifully cooked as were the scallops and tasted delicious! Then we had the pork belly and the pulled lamb - sadly these were not as good as the seafood dishes. The lamb was very oily and heavy and the pork was so tough it was almost inedible which was really disappointing as we genuinely thought we had found a great tapas restaurant. Will probably be back to give it another try as the first three dishes were so good!

Small family run Spanish restaurant on Beckenham High Street. We have eaten there several times now - the food is delicious, the rioja very enjoyable and the staff very pleasant. Cost very reasonable. We will be going again often without a doubt.

Fantastic food and wonderful staff. Lucky Beckenham to have this gem of a restaurant. Special tapas of hake With creamed cauliflower & pork with apple and sorbet were beautiful. We will be back.
