Surprising to get such a beautiful restaurant serving great food in wonderful atmosphere and at very reasonable prices. All right next to the Globe Theatre! I look forward to a return visit very soon.

I have been going to this restaurant regularly. Over the years the quality of the food as well as the maintenance of the premises are on a sharp decline. I ordered a feta salad where the cos lettuce was old, no proper tomatoes and seasoning of the salad. The borek was stuffed with uncooked parsley, while the pastry was hard and over cooked. Mucver was mushy and half cooked. Pides were very dry and not much flavour. Not great examples of Turkish cooking. Female toilet seat was broken, fire alarm missing the cover. The whole premise is on the decline overall. On the other hand staff was very good and tentative.

The service was fine, liked the table linen, the music was a bonus, but it was Saturday night... and empty. Maybe because it's right near The Globe? More likely because the food was terrible. Seriously, there are hundreds of restaurants serving these dishes in London. This was by far the worst. Mucver was completely devoid of any taste other than 'fried.' My lamb was chewy and tasted of nothing, my husband's vegetarian moussaka was also tasteless and floated in a watery 'gravy.' We both left loads of our meal. Please change your chef!
