Tayview Hotel

We received a warm welcome and the waitress serving us was lovely. The Indian food was very good as was the fish and chips. The steak was small but well cooked and presented. Two things that would have made it slightly better - we were not automatically offered desert menus and the coffee selection was poor. I was a regional director for a major hotel chain though, so I am rather critical. Our overall experience was very good.

Amazing food with great service, and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back! 8 of us ate and everyone got something different but all enjoyed their food.

Great service great atmosphere and outstanding food. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The food was incredible large portions and incredibly tasty. Despite how busy it was service was extremely efficient.

Out for a meal with friends. Great food and service will definitely be back, also collected a takeaway menu. Would recommend you to give a try.

Lovely food, the staff were great. Prices were very reasonable. Easy to book & were briliant bringing out our birthday cake after the meal. Will be back.

Food was amazing good size portions staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves a good curry or kebab.

Great service as usual. Will be back this week. As per usual staff were pleasant and very helpful. We were a party of 8 and were served efficiently.

Awful service and the food was just ok, nothing special. Had to ask for cutlery about 3 times and when they came she threw 3 sets down...there were 4 of us! One rice was delayed coming out for 8 mins...a long time to wait for your food to get cold. Asked 3 different people and no-one got back to us..eventually shouted on the manager who was not apologetic or anything. Never again!

Food very tasty cooked properly staff busy yet attentive .highly recommend this place,even when at its peak with lots of customer,everyone is looked after.one thing though tables a bit SMALL especially when order Nan bread other than that great.

Great food and service...Well worth a visit!! Varied choice on the menu to suit all tastes.The Tandoori mixed grill and chicken Karahi are highly recommended.

Fantastic as usual, 5 of us went for dinner tonight night and it was fresh and piping hot. Staff are very nice and comfortable surroundings.

We had a fab time here, the food was perfect and we left as very happy bunnies. Parking was very easy and there was not rush to get us to leave after we had finished our meals. All in all very happy with staff and service and we will return.

The meal was worth waiting for, top marks to the chef everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. However we felt 50mins in between courses was the only fault .

Food and staff were excellent,the only downfall was we were given a seat right at the door and it was a really cold and windy evening,did ask for another table and was given one only a few tables down from the door which did not make any difference as i sat there shivering.This will not stop me from going back,only next time i book i will be asking for a table away from the door.

This was my first visit to the Tayview in a long time but will certainly be back on a regular basis. My partner and I could find no negative points about the whole experience - warm, friendly service from all staff, great food and reasonably priced. My only small criticism would be that I would prefer less harsh lighting but that is a personal thing. Keep up the good work!!

Very attentive and friendly staff. The food was served, very quickly after ordering. Everything was hot and tasted delicious. It was also reasonably priced. Definitely be back again.
