Taz Restaurant

I really like Turkish food and this restaurant is now one of my favourites. Food is excellent and plentiful and the ambience is superb. I'll be back soon

As a regular visitor the food a d service is always outstanding

Staff really made the place the food was ok it wasn’t super amazing but it was decent and in fairness it was a set menu all though very expensive at £75 a head and not the largest portions but I suppose that’s expected the venue it’s self is very well laid out and the booths and the way there set up makes you feel like your in your own private space I’m going to return again and on a day where they have the normal menu and see if the experience with regards to the food is better but all in all a lovely place and genuinely amazing staff

Absolutely love this place. Visited Taz on many occasions and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Great atmosphere , staff are friendly and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The quality of the food is first class. What a gem to have here in Rettendon

We asked for a different table in a quieter position on arrival and were successfully accommodated. The service and food were very good as always. We enjoyed our meal and conversation with friends. It was a very nice experience.

Lovely welcoming, friendly staff & great cocktails. Food was good, not as fantastic as we had hoped, or had heard but portion sizes were incredible! We rolled out on just 2 courses!! Very TOWIE decor with 20-something lookalike wannabe diners everywhere, it’s not a family restaurant, we felt very old in our 50’s 🤣would be great to have a dance floor as the music was really good. Lovely to see a full buzzing restaurant, it’s clearly a success & we would go again.

As usual everything was very good and good to see the restaurant full at lunchtime, it’s nice to see someone has got it right food and price . Keep it up . We will no doubt be back soon.

Taz is a lovely restaurant with very helpful pleasant staff - the lunchtime special is such good value for money ( and is very popular the restaurant was full) I have one small observation and that is some pieces of the lamb Shish were fatty/ chewy ( 2 out of 5 pieces almost inedible) as there is a surcharge of £3 they should ensure the meat is of a good quality but this won’t stop me returning to this restaurant

We had the most amazing lunch today at Taz two of our guests were celebrating their birthdays and the waiter bought out candlelit icream and sang Happy Birthday we had such a great time congratulations to Taz and his team

Fries were overdone Taz has gone downhill since the last time. I’ve been there when I first went there and I have been there 5+ times before everything has been good but today average

For a table of six we couldn’t chat much as the hubbub was load as was the music. Food and service top class! Would definitely come again, but probably not in a group…

This was our first time at Taz. We were very impressed with the food, food presentation, choice and service. We were not rushed and staff were extremely pleasant. We felt as if the staff were wanting us to have a good experience. We will certainly be going back.
