A hidden treasure in Bromsgrove. Located in what looks like a former pub, the restaurant has a clean tidy appearance and the food was good. The prices (July 2017) were also very reasonable compared to other local restaurants.
We had a lovely lunch on a Saturday. Food was delicious, really fresh and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be back...great value too! Would recommend.

However, there are some things that Thai Lotus does better than the other Thai eateries in the city. In particular, Thai Lotus is renowned for its Thai-style duck and seafood dishes, and diners often find themselves converts after sampling these specialties.
The real action in Thai Lotus’ kitchen begins with dinner, when the extensive evening a la carte menu comes in to play down Worcester Road. Bromsgrove is quickly beginning to understand that Thai Lotus is the real deal when it comes to Thai cuisine, with a dazzling array of dishes showcasing the breadth of this Southeast Asian nation’s culinary traditions. Spicy tom yum and tom kha soups are almost obligatory introductions to Thai Lotus’ offering, while the yum talay (seafood salad) is a light way to enjoy the Thai take on seafood-laced healthy eating. Of the classic curries on offer, unmissable is the grilled duck curry (gang phed ped yang), subjecting roast duck to the red curry treatment with coconut milk, pineapple, tomato, grapes, and sweet basil leaves – the result is a nicely balanced marriage of heat and sweetness.
