We don't come very often (as I live in Swindon) but we've always had a nice meal here. Tonight was no exception. It was nice to be remembered as we sat down .

Visited The Abbeville for a family birthday and Sunday roast. We were slightly disappointed with the food, portion sizes were good but was quite bland - had better Sunday roasts! The service was excellent and our waitress went over and above to ensure our visit was enjoyable - she even insisted on a candle in a desert for the birthday boy! Atmosphere and interior were great, would visit again.

Hi, I’d just like to understand the table time allowance at the Abberville and if there were special rules for friends and family of staff? We were told to leave when there was another free table and friends and family of staff were there before we arrived and still there once we had left. When I past a number of hours later they were still there?

This was our first time to the Abbeville and we had a fantastic evening and meal. The staff were attentive and friendly and also followed social distancing protocols. The food was delicious and a good range of beers and wines. I would love a couple more vegan main options on the menu as there was only a burger (although very tasty). We will be back!!

The Abbeville on a Tuesday evening in September was buzzing! I was pleased to introduce to new customers to this lovely pub/restaurant that has become a fixture in this part of Clapham

We booked at very short notice. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The overall atmosphere was very comfortable and restful. We enjoyed the food a lot and the drinks were great. We will definitely go back often.

Sat down for 25 minutes, no service, no sign of any staff member. Left the table, walked downstairs to a different part of the restaurant and found a staff member who took our drink and dinner order. Staff member returned 5 minutes after to say that x2 dishes we ordered were not available. Made another order. 65 minutes after our booking, starter hadn’t arrived. Left the table again to find a staff member to ask where our food was, was told that the starter order did not go through. Mains arrived 70 minutes after booking. Starter arrived 80 minutes after booking. Starter and x1 drink per guest taken off the bill as an apology.

Another great new with great service. This is such a great local pub with amazing food.

Third time to the Abbeville. Easy booking, friendly staff, good sized portions and tasted great on all starters and mains. No complaints.

I was looking forward to going out for dinner. Unfortunately, they have basically opened up the front of the restaurant so we were basically sat outside where it was raining and freezing. I had my coat on for the meal but sat there shivering. They also almost never came and served those tables so we had to wait ages for a menu or knife and fork etc. We asked to move further inside the restaurant but even though the tables were empty they wouldn’t move us as we had already sat down. I understand they would have had the clean our table again but I did book in advance so would have expected a reasonable table. Overall just really disappointing as I had been looking forward to being able to go to the pub and have dinner for 3 months. Wouldn’t come again.
