Stayed at The ASHVILLE overnight as we were going to a production at The Tobacco Factory. Great accommodation, arrived an hour and a quarter late due to Friday night traffic. Ashville had retained our dinner table for us, prompt and friendly service despite our lateness and only having 45mins to eat and get to the theatre. Delicious menu food excellent attentive and helpful. Nothing too much trouble thoroughly recommend it.
Excellent meal for 2, food was good. Great choice of Beers & Lagers, also great service. Can't fault the evening. The place was excellently decorated, clean and we would definitely go back soon.
Possibly the crispiest batter I've ever had!!! Absolutely delicious food and service! Outstanding thank you! We will most definitely return to this fabulous eatery! The lady behind the bar was so helpful, and polite and smiley! Great!
This was our first time ever eating at the Ashville and we had one of the most tastiest meal we've probably ever had!. We could not fault it. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the recommended wine went down nicely!. We will definitely be back again soon. The staff were lovely too. Highly recommended.
We went on a Friday night and wondered how noisy this place would be, it was fine in the main part as there was a noisy group in the other section. The food was really good, we were not told was what not available so I couldn't have my original starter but the alternative soup was really nice as was the chicken burger. Others had the mussels, the Camembert, and the fish and chips which were all really nice. We will be recommending to friends and will be back again soon.
The Ashville is an excellent local pub with fantastic food and a really cosy atmosphere. Staff are always polite and welcoming - it's our favourite place for Sunday lunch. They have a great range of drinks, particularly ciders!
We went for Sunday lunch which we and our friends have enjoyed on several occasions; what makes this a good option for us is the excellent vegetarian roast dinner which is a rare find. Sadly I am all too used to being given the 'reheated lasagne' whilst heaped bowls of vegetables are given the meat eaters roasts! Incidentally, my meat eating friends rate it too.
Had a very pleasant evening at The Ashville. The food was excellent. Would have given 6 but service was a little slow - it was a quiet night in January so not many staff. Definitely will return.
Consistently good food and consistently good service - What more can you ask for. I'm coming here for Xmas Lunch as well so I highly recommend The Ashville
Delicious food, great atmosphere and lovely staff. We were there celebrating a friend's birthday and The Ashville help make it a memorable time. Would highly recommend it.
Lovely meal. Great service. What more do you need? I highly recommend The Ashville. Why not give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
The Rump Steak was gorgeous and one of our group had the Rack of Ribs which he failed to eat and had a doggy bag! He commented that they were delicious. Real Ale to wash the the meals down. EXCELLENT. Will return in the near future👌
My friends and I had a lovely meal, in delightful surroundings and made even more enjoyable by the waitress remembering us from our last visit on New Years Eve! Always a good touch. Will return when next in Bristol.
Fab food, warm welcome and good service. The range of food was extensive and very interesting. Prices were reasonable. Lucky people who live near by. Not everyone is fortunate to have a gastro pub on their doorstep.
Always a lovely welcoming atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. The food is superb and very reasonably priced. Nice choice of specials. Seems to be a popular place every day of the week. I will be back
Polite staff and awesome food.. Really nice pub . I would highly recommend. We had a Sunday roast that came out quickly and was one of the best we have had in Bristol. Will go again.
Excellent service, food was good, Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Good range of real ales and a good night had. Only downside was an extremely loud group of people which marred the evening - couldn't hear our own conversation.
Food was really good, my friend said she could not remember the last time she had had such a good steak. Atmosphere friendly and relaxed, the waitress was lovely. In all a very pleasant experience.
Excellent Sunday lunch, we had beef, lamb and pork. Beef was medium rare which was superb. The land lady let us eat early. Super experience. Recommended for rugby or football people going to Ashton gate
Most enjoyable meal and attentive staff. To improve a little somewhere to hang cats would be good and a wider selection of wine would be appreciated by myself, however, none of this detracts from my recommendation as a good restaurant.
Not the first time and definitely not the last.Excellent service . Had Sunday lunch here and red Cabbage which I hate was great. A regular for great food before every Bristol home gain. Great food ,great staff and complete satisfaction.
The staff are so lovely and welcoming and the food here is amazing!! We will definitely eat here again. We tried the roast dinner here for the first time and it was incredible.
Lovely food, friendly service. Perfect! It was easy to find and we were able to park right outside which was a bonus. I will definitely go again and recommend it to my friends.
We tried the Ashville today for the first time, and I wasn't disappointed. The service was very good, and the roast dinner was amazing! Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Menu was varied and the Piano playing in the background added to the ambiance. Would recommend the Ashville and look forward to going there again.
Great service, the staff are lovely, very efficient, with nothing appearing to be to much trouble. Food is excellent, fresh quality ingredients, thoroughly enjoyable, can't wait to dine there again!
Lovely roast dinner I had pulled pork my husband ordered lamb. My husband thought it would be slices of lamb and not pulled lamb which he dosnt care for. Plenty of veg and roast potatoes.
Food was really good, well cooked and tasty. Atmosphere friendly. Lovely evening. Only criticism would be that not everything on the specials board was available and we were eating fairly early on a Friday night.
Lovely food. Lovely people. Relaxed. Happy times. Excellent service and truly delicious muscles. Had a seared duck and my other half enjoyed a delicious hake. I'll definitely go back.
My mum and I went for a Sunday dinner. The food was lovely and we were promptly served. Relaxing atmosphere and a friendly service. Great place for the family.
Always great food, with a good range of beers and wines, probably the best fish and chips ,served with a smile, will be back again very soon, many thanks to all the staff.
This is a lovely pub. Fresh décor, bright and airy. Mags and papers to browse whilst waiting for friends. Beautiful food (loved our steaks). Relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back!
Once again excellent food and service. Very friendly staff. and nothing seems to be any trouble for them It was a pity the band was not playing that night.
Friendly, quick service and great ambience for a family lunch. My fish and chips was delicious. I will certainly return to the Ashville and would recommend to others.
The food was amazing, had the most gorgeous monkfish really do recommend, we will definitely be returning. Service was very good too, a little gem on our doorstep.
Amazing food, lovely staff who are always friendly, professional and impeccably efficient. Wonderful atmosphere and surroundings. Couldn't think of better place to spend my birthday. Thank you
Lovely meal. Great service and accommodated our 3 year old. We've had a few meals here and it's always been good, but the Sunday roast was great.
had a fantastic meal the steak was done to perfection very good service in a lovely setting very easy to park also a good selection of beer
Really good atmosphere as well as fab food. Really great value for Sunday lunch with good service. Would certainly go again and take friends and family
Lovely food. Service was great. Choc brownie to die for! Highly recommended .... booking is a must as very busy . We will definitely be returning
Always good God and a great time. The cocktails are rather fantastic, and the service (as always) absolutely excellent. Please don't go changing any time soon.
nice vibe for Sunday lunch, beef roast good portion and very tasty. Plus having British Grand Prix on discretly in the corner - a bonus
We booked a table for Sunday lunch. Good food. Very accommodating with dietary requirements and young children. Good value for money and huge portions! Looking forward to our next visit
Easy to book using quandoo.co.uk. A wonderful meal and great value for money. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself was fab. Highly recommended
Great service and lovely food. Staff attentive but not in your face and had all the know how on the menu choice. Will be back.
Excellent Sunday roast , great value , fab service . Worth a visit ! Have booked to go back next week for sat eve meal
Another fabulous meal here, the food is always delicious and the staff are very friendly and courteous. Nice relaxed atmosphere and great value for money
Recommended by our local B&B and not disappointed. In fact went twice during our short trip to Bristol. The duck was particularly good. Tasting the local ale was a bonus.
A top notch meal, warm friendly service. Great selection of specials. Delicious food and a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely dine here again, I recommend
Lovely food, served promptly with a smile in a nice relaxing atmosphere. Seems like a popular place, with a mixture of people eating and drinking
