Good family dining experience. Friendly staff, good food, good value for money...
Always a good place to meet up with friends and family, eat and drink.
Really friendly staff, had a fantastic Sunday roast and very good value.
Fantastic food and lovely staff we thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunches
The Sunday roast was fantastic! Will definitely go again 👍🏼
There was a lot of food and the service was prompt and friendly. However my beef was saturated in gravy and I'm sure the gravy smelt of lamb which I don't like. Perhaps all the roast joints were put together to make the gravy?
Delicious Sunday roast! It would be nice to have a couple of specials for those who don’t like a roast
Good portions, well cooked, good value, friendly staff. Great views.
Have been to the Aviator many times and have always had a good meal with pleasant staff and good service
The Sunday roast was really good and the beef was perfectly cooked. Lovely atmosphere and great service. We asked for a little plate for our 1 year old and they were more than happy to help.
Lovely Father’s Day meal made special by the fantastic staff 👍
The food was delicious and we would definitely go here again.
The roast was lovely but the apple crumble had a weird taste to it.
First visit, good atmosphere and very good food. Definitely be back.
Lovely food, great setting and friendly staff. Definitely coming back.
Came here for a family breakfast. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was ok. It was great to be able to watch the comings and goings at the airport from The Aviator. We will definitely return.
Nice family get together following a flight experience. Food was nice.
We had an absolutely delicious lunch here today. Two of us had the roast, which was plentiful, hot and delicious! My partner had scampi and chips, which was crispy and equally plentiful. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!
Fish burnt, hash brown black inside, burger like rubber, salad gone over. Won’t be returning for food.
As someone with a hearing defect, I found it quite difficult to understand what the bar staff were saying to me - but that's not their fault, that place is buzzing with activity. Very friendly atmosphere and lovely food!
Lovely food & really welcoming & friendly staff! Lovely place
We booked a table for a family meal on Mother's Day and we all agreed that the food was really, really good. It arrived quickly after ordering, stayed piping hot - much to my husband's delight as he can't stand places that serve lukewarm food on unheated plates - there was plenty of it and it tasted great! The staff couldn't have been more friendly and attentive - I even got a free glass of bubbly for Mother's Day. After our meal we had coffees outside and watched the planes and helicopters and there was plenty of space for my grandsons to run around. Very good experience and will definitely eat there again.
I thought this was a gem of a place. Service very friendly and nicely timed. Homemade puddings were particularly nice. Lovely to have the view of the runway/planes/helicopters. Relaxed setting. Will be coming back!
Lovely atmosphere when you walk in very friendly staff and helpful lovely good food will definitely go back again thank you sue williams
We come up from Wiltshire to visit our daighter and grandchildren in Churchdown. We would not think of going anywhere else. We always have an excellent meal and the waiting and bar staff are second to none. Thank you Aviator.
We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch. It was freshly cooked and very generous portions. We’ll be back.
Great atmosphere with tasty food and a good selection of drinks. The staff are friendly and efficient and the uniqueness of the location ensures you have plenty to watch from the windows.
Lovely food with big family meal. All came out at same time pretty much. Nice family ambience. Food and drink great value for money. Will be back. Lunch is always good.
Considering they were very busy being the Christmas period the food was excellent along with the service. The good was cooked fresh and the presentation was excellent.
good food and generous portion sizes - very friendly - we went for Sunday lunch - lots of families. accessible for older people so that helped
A friendly restaurant with quick service at a reasonable price. When booking ahead of time there are a couple of tables indoors which allow dogs which is great for a trip out to the airport to see friends.
We went on Tuesday steak night, 2 steak dinners and a bottle of wine (or 2 pints) for £26. Cooked exactly how we liked them and the onion rings were nice and crispy. Can't fault it at all. Friendly and helpful staff too!
The Aviator has a friendly clean service and good menu choices. It was nice to sit watching the airport traffic of aeroplanes and helicopters in the area.
Little overwhelmed when we visited - were very rushed and struggling with the amount of customers that they were dealing with. Sunday at 1pm - seems like the time you need to be on it
The food was good value for money and the choice on the menu reasonable. Unfortunately the wait for our meals was far longer than acceptable. Forty minutes after placing our order we were informed that they were short of chefs on the evening of our visit. Fifty minutes wait for starters - disappointing!
The food was excellent quality, very friendly staff. First time here, would definitely recommend and return. Sta in the well kept garden. The only very slight negative I have is that I thought nearly £9 was a little pricey for an omelette, after all it's only a couple eggs beaten together. My friend had the steak pie and she was very impressed with the amount of steak it contained.
