Very rushed not a lot of time in between courses I was ill after it with upset stomach although everyone else was ok the only think I had different from others was dessert disappointing

Lovely food, friendly and efficient staff, steak night offer was great value. Banana brioche pudding - compliments to the chef.

We were in the upstairs restaurant.Our first visit .The staff were very welcoming and friendly.They took time to explain the menu and the best value.Our only issue was the lack of vegetarian options in the main course .It was mushroom risotto orleave

Lovely meal with great service with a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. My only disappointment was the coffee, bit watery and tasteless, but other than that, absolutely delicious, will definitely be back.

A lovely meal. We booked for 18.00 on Saturday. Service very good, very pleasant staff. We brought friends from Newcastle who were visiting. We paid bill and gave a tip at about 19.40 and then my sister was just finishing her tea when a member of staff came over and said we’d only 10 minutes as they needed to clear the table. The end just spoiled a really lovely meal out.

One meal was better than the other. We had asked for a quiet table as we had business to discuss. No problem as we were only customers but waitress constantly interrupting us to see if 'everything was alright' was a bit of a nuisance. Next time, I will say to assume 'everything is alright' and I will let them know if it isn't...!

Food was lovely but the caramelised orange dessert needed more than just a spoon to eat as the segments were not separated. Service was good but, perhaps because the restaurant was quiet, the "is everything ok" enquiries from waiting staff were a bit too frequent! The lighting over the table could be a little brighter perhaps (for those whose eyesight isn't what it used to be!) But the whole experience was very good and we will definitely be back.

Good service,enjoyed lunch , well presented ,good portion size. Only complaint was dry potatoes with fish pie.

Always enjoy our meal at the Barony, the staff look after you well making sure you are happy with everything.

Food was really nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. There seemed to be a big party of people upstairs which slowed our order a wee bit. The food was worth the wait though. This wouldn’t put me off going back. I thought we got gods value too.👍
