Beach House Bistro & Bar

Superb as always! I was with a party of five last Friday evening and we had a wonderful meal from the new menu. The lamb ribs were the best I have ever tasted with a delicious herby salad and spicy bulgur rice. The whole experience of the Beach House must be unique - with the surroundings and ambience overlooking the sea and stunning design of the restaurant and bar. We had an excellent white wine - recommended by our waiter - and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We most certainly would not hesitate to recommend the Beach House to anyone looking for a quality modern restaurant with an excellent menu.

Great food served and cooked to perfect as always. Service a little slow but it was very busy. Great live music too. Looking forward to going back

Very good experience arrived early and got an outside seat service very good. Recommended from a local at de'vere pool. I will visit again next time we are in Blackpool.

Good food,not good service. Can't decide whether it's a pub or a restaurant. Sadly it falls in between both. There were drunk groups of lads wandering around the eating area and the service wasn't very good to boot.

The restaurant is lovely, nice big chairs at the table giving plenty of space avoiding the feeling of being squashed in. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is excellent, however, there was a considerable delay between courses, although, our waitress kept us informed throughout the evening. All in all a lovely evening and an excellent venue to celebrate a special occasion (it was our wedding anniversary). Will definitely return.

Great location but the pizza I order had very little toppings and it was basically bread and not cooked.no one came over to check so I had no chance to send it back.

The only blip on a wonderful evening was the fact we were told when we arrived that we only had the table until 8.30 when we were expecting to have it for as long my wife and I were eating and drinking. This has not happened before so we were very disappointed. The beach house missed out on us ordering a sweet and another bottle of Pruseco because we ran out of time.

The beach house is such a beautiful place!! The food was amazing... So was the cocktails!! Had a beautiful singer on for entertainment!! I love this place.. I'll definitely recommend this place!!

Nice interior, good music on and a lovely deck overlooking the beach and sea. The tapas food was actually lovely...we were only disappointed by the hour-long wait after ordering which was apparently due to them serving another large table. However on a busy Friday night in August, large numbers should be anticipated. When they finally did bring it out, they then took it away from us again as they believed it to be for another table - we finally were allowed to have it after another waitress stepped in. There were plenty of waiting staff on but food should be available quicker.

Lovely location, great cocktails, good menu choices - food was fresh and tasty. Staff really helpful and friendly would highly recommend!! Perfect location for after visiting the tower/ballroom/circus etc

We returned to the Beach House having previously only had drinks. As before, the premises was top class and such a welcome to Blackpool's re-invented 'front'. It is clearly a popular venue given the high amount of people dining so early booking is recommended !! The staff were very professional and polite and the solo guitar player made it a pleasant atmosphere. The menu had something for everyone, I had the 'mixed kebab platter for 1', my wife has the 'Pineapple Rice' and our close friend had the Fish & Chips...all were very pleased with the quality of food, presentation and range of drinks. We sat inside whilst eating then sat outside to watch the best ever 'sunset' into the late evening hours with more drinks. The owner presented himself on occasions asking if everything was OK.....which it was in the main and we will certainly return again for sure. The only issue that has made this review a 5 and NOT a 6 is that the service was disorganised and we ended up waiting a considerable time for ordered drinks and food. Let me explain, (waiting anything over 30-45 mins just for drinks/food is unacceptable), as I said, the staff were excellent !! however, there needs to be a duty manager keeping an 'overview' of the structure and organisation of 'service delivery' and it is this clear lack of management that evening that let the venue down. That said, we will come back again without doubt. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening overall.

Lovely ambience, lovely food, a little diamond in the middle of some less stylish establishments. The only thing I would like to suggest is that a table preference is made available - I had booked in advance and our table wasn't the best - still nice, but it would have been really nice to be able to book a certain part of the restaurant.

Fantastic Evening! Great food and beverage choice with something to suit all tastes. Food served promptly and staff had an excellent knowledge of the dishes on their menu and could make recommendations which were both appreciated and accurate. Atmosphere was great and the live music was incredible! Made a great night perfect. The best live music in a bistro we have witnessed for a long time. I have to say the staff are a true credit to the beach house. Despite a busy evening we felt like the only two customers in there they were so pleasant and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and we have recommended and will keep on recommending the beach house. Thank you for making my husbands birthday perfect xx

An unexpectedly fabulous find! Good views over the sea, friendly staff, great food. Be sure to book early as it was very busy. We'll difinately be back.

Had lovely evening here early on before the theatre on a Saturday night. The service was excellent and fast. The food and drink was amazing and the view out to sea lovely. Will definitely be visiting again!!

Lovely, trendy restaurant with tasty food. Great atmosphere and clearly very popular. The chicken shish was delicious and the views were gorgeous. Toilets were a little weird.

Went to the Beach House last night for the first time we had a very tasty seafood risotto. Our waitress Ashleigh was lovely and was very knowledgeable and attentive. Next time we go would love to sit in the area over looking the sea. It was very busy for a Wednesday night and had a great atmosphere. Had a great night with great friends.

As usual everything was first class. I had requested a table in the conservatory and it was there waiting for us. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff but most of all the food was delicious. This has got to be the best place in the area.

Amazing food, cocktails, service and views we visit from Aberdeen twice a year and absolutely love the Beach House. Entertainment is first class. Would highly recommend.

I was a little disappointed with where we were seated. I really wanted to be in the outside area with a sea view and we were told no and then guets arriving after us were seated there. if there is a system about having to specially mention you want to sit here when you book then this should be made clear on the website. I really didn't like the high barstool type seating that we were perched in for the duration of our visit. Just put normal tables and seats here instead of these, We had an incredibly long wait to be served- I mean even for someone to take our order and yes it was really busy but I think on being given menus we should have been asked if we would like a drink, we had to go to the bar. Not good at a restaurant table. These grumbles aside when we got our meal it was extremely good we had a lovely selection of tapas and staff were friendly and efficient, Its clearly the place where the cool and beautiful people of blackpool hang out. I would recommend it. .

Excellent service the food was good and wasn't over priced will certainly be visiting again in the not to distant future. One of the staff called to let us know we wouldn't be able to have a table on the outside terrace so did we want to cancel our booking which obviously we didn't but good customer service.

Great meal good service pay a visit and enjoy the atmosphere. During the day enjoy looking across to the sea or evening the bright lights of Blackpool whilst you dine.

We dined in the bar area which was very noisy with groups drinking. The food & service was excellent! A very good drinks and menu choice.

This place is absolutely brilliant, the food was lovely and the staff are so welcoming! Next time I'm in Blackpool this place will be at the top of my list!

An informally busy and buzzing venue day or night, and somewhere that has become Blackpool's celebrity magnet. Good food, good service, good vibe - even good fish and chips on the menu!

Food loverly but note if you want to be seated with a view you need to stipulate when booking, was disappointed to be sitting in the 'cafe' side when we had expected ambience of the sea view

It was lovely food and the atmosphere was great. Just felt the cocktails and drinks were a bit steep! Great night had by all. We would definitely go back.

We had the Grill it came highly recommended by the waiter, lovely. Only wish we'd booked a table with a view. Very good service. Would come again

Good service and food but rowdy, bordering offensive behavior of some of the other clients (groups men) spoilt it. Felt something was going to kick off so we made a hasty retreat after our mains. People smoking too at tables albeit outside but under covers - NOT GOOD!

Good venue although as it was Saturday night quite noisy at times, food was pleasant enough but could be improved on however service was great.

Lovely food, great service but was slightly spoilt by two groups of lads who were drunk and chanting football songs in the outside seating area. Really thought the Beach House could do withuut that type of clientele and judging by how busy the restaurant was with what looked like locals, really didn't need to serve them. Wouldn't let it out me off going again though.

Great food, amazing atmosphere we had a booth to ourselves the drinks were good and the service was even better. Can't fault it great night out!

Nothing short of sheer perfection. Will be recommending this place to everyone of our friends. Couldn't have asked for a better evening meal it's superb.

We booked a table for a special occasion online, but there was no facility there for us to request a table with a sea view. Our mistake, we should have rung to request this, but maybe the web page could be improved to accommodate this. The food was delicious and very well presented. The pineapple rice was served in a pineapple which was refreshingly different. Other dishes were served in equally unusual ways. The staff were attentive and polite. We will go again.

Really good food and amazing cocktails only down side is staff are a bit slow and stand around talking to each other and looking in the mirrors!

Nice position on the sea front. Bright,clean and contemporary decor. Staff friendly and efficient. Lovely menu and good sized portions. I had the Mediterranean squid.Delicious!

Atmosphere and the view are excellent we have been before for drinks and thought we would try food. I think we came on a bad night as service was awful but food ok. They did provide us with a lot of complimentary drinks due to our two hour wait but I think this was a one off problem. Despite this we would go again even if only for the view and drinks

Food was great staff were helpful although food was coming out way to quickly no break between courses also I ordered 3 different cocktails and they never had any of them in other than that was all good
