Wouldn't have the pizza again as it was bland and dry, but husband said his fish was lovely and daughter enjoyed the carvery. Service was slow and I had to ask where our mains was as we waited over half an hour. Maybe they were understaffed that day? Shame as we'd had 2 good meals there before.
Good food, polite service. Very friendly staff in a good location. Amble parking and a nice little children’s play area. Plenty of food and good choice of meat.
This is a great family pub with nice food. Friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome awaits with a wide choice of drinks. They bring the community together.
First visit to the pub . We had a lovely time food was good and we didn't wait too long for the food or tonne served . Would definitely visit again . Very friendly staff too .
Very easy online booking system. From ordering, to enjoying lunch, was a seamless experience. Would recommend Bedes Lea for lunch, or dinner. I needed to relax, and the Bedes Lea enabled me to unwind. Have only good things to say.
Service was hit and miss, not friendly except for kitchen staff. Disappointed with the quality of the carvery as had been told it was one of the best, definitely fell below that expectation. Bill was wrong the first time but was sorted out when asked. Wouldn't go back
Wonderful carvery ,good selection of vegetables, it was our First visit and will certainly go again in the near future .We were greeted very well on arrival.
Good selection of food, a warm environment on a coldish winter's day. All seemed satisfied with food and drinks. Service seemed fine as well. Nice.
The presentation and service was excellent, the decor was lovely. There was a lot of paperwork involved in the original booking. Our only complaint on the day was there didn't seem to be any heating, we were rather chilly although the food did of course warm us up a little.
Very friendly staff, food very nice and tasty especially the home cooked chips , but a shame the carvery is now only on a Sunday.
It was ok, nothing special Food was mediocre, staff were pleasant. No other diners in restaurant all evening. Wouldn't rush back. Shame as it's quite local.
A party of us came for the Saturday breakfast buffet. It was a pleasurable experience. The staff friendly and welcoming, the food good. Just make sure the tea is not.
The food was average. Not expensive but fairly pleasant. The staff were really friendly and helpful could not fault them on any aspect. The venue was very rough and ready and the clientele reflected this observation. Was surprised how empty it seemed to be as it was Saturday evening .
We went for the carvery. Turkey was dry -even the one just brought out. Gammon was overly salty -to the pint it couldn't be eaten. Service was good.
