Excellent service and delicious food. Very thoughtful offer to seat us in a quieter area because of one of our group with serious hearing difficulties. We all rated it a very good experience and suggested we should go there again.
Nice pub for an evening meal. Tastefully decorated with comfortable leather chairs. Good selection on the menu. Food tasty & well presented. Service friendly and helpful.
brilliant as always!! food and service are always great and we weren't disappointed. Lovely setting, pleasant to sit inside and outside, and very accommodating of children
First time at the Bee in Windlesham. Food was excellent and very enjoyable evening.Friendly staff and very good service. Booking was very easy and we picked a night which was comfortable and relaxing
Best Sunday roast I've ever eaten out!! I had the fishcakes to start which were really tasty. Then roast pork which was delicious with perfect toasties and Yorkshire pud and the veg was spot on. The others I was with also said it was the best roast they'd had in ages. Lovely pub and we'll presented dining room with proper serviettes! Staff were friendly and polite. Will definitely have to return.
The service was great, very accommodating to your needs and didn't want for nothing. I had steak on the stone which is by far the best fillet steak i've ever had. You need to have this if you visit here. The only disappointment we had was when the bill came - we were charged 90p for each soda water we ordered, just water nothing mixed with it. Thought this was outrageous. Alot of the places i visit do not charge.
The staff were friendly and helpful but the food was substandard. We paid £75 for 2 adults and 2 small children (without desserts but with drinks) so expected good quality food for that price. The portions were small and low quality food. The kids fish fingers were brown inside and looked deep-fried (along with chips), the chicken in the chicken burger was small and plastic-looking, the cod was small but with large portion of chips (would have expected the other way round), potato skins were small and burnt. Sauces were served in sachets, not in pots. On the plus side, the food was hot. We won't eat there again but it's a nice setting for a drink on a hot day (in the beer garden) and has a play area for kids.
The food was delicious. You were given time between courses and the sevice was very good. Nothing was too much trouble. Prices were also reasonable. Lovely location in a country lane. In summer it would be nice to sit in the gardsn.
Good food friendly service as usual. The impression I got was that William the Landlord goes the extra mile. I wanted ribs, which weren't on the menu, but was prepared for me. Best steak on the stone in this area.
Our first visit to this pub and will be returning. The good was lovely and the service was excellent. The staff were so friendly and nothing was a problem. I highly recommend The Bee. See you again soon! 😊
We had a pleasant evening, the menu offered plenty of choice, service was fine and food was mixed. Some well cooked dishes, but although the flavour of the duck dish was nice, I found the meat rather tough and chewy. If I go again, I would choose fish over the meat.
Very friendly , warm welcome, food was good, freshly cooked, unfortunately one of the starters was overcooked , it was taken back to the Chef, but we were still charged for it, however this would deter us going back again.
We had a fantastic meal for my wife's birthday. The food was beautiful and the service was great. All the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us.
Nice locals pub, where the willingness and attitude of the staff all contributed to a pleasant evening. The menu offers something for all tastes and one can tell by the freshness that it is cooked to order.
We were given a warm welcome on arrival at 'The Bee' and all the staff were very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our evening (last Friday). Disappointingly for me though, was the fact that both the fishcakes (starter) and scampi (main) were overcooked.
Nice atmosphere with very friendly staff, serving good home cooked food made to order, good beer and all reasonably priced. Had a really pleasant evening. Will definitely be back.
Lovely little venue. Great food and service at a reasonable price. Server was really friendly and looked after us throughout. We had a really nice birthday evening and would definately go there again
Everything excellent although chips were a little overdone! The bread and butter pudding with custard was the best I have ever had outside my own kitchen. Will be returning in the future.
The Bee is a great pub, the menu is good and the food and service is great. Steak on the stone is a favourite of ours.
Excellent menu - promptly and efficiently served We will certainly go there again soon. Easy car parking and access and looking to develop the garden area
The food was lovely and the staff were very good, we live very close but never seem to go to this pub. Will definitely return.
Friendly staff, good food and reasonable prices. I will be going again. An easy location to find but with limited car parking space but don't let this put you off.
Excellent food and atmosphere as always. Service good, I had the potato skins to start, followed by piri piri chicken and it was really good
Lovely pub with very helpful staff who organised a huge table and bowls of nibbles for us when we turned out to be a larger party than expected. Highly recommended
Great food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Our food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. Good sized portions. Recommend the sea bass with prawns. *****
We had a table in the bar, not in the restaurant. The food was good but it took a while to arrive. We did expect to be in the restaurant as we had booked 2 weeks before.
The dining experience was ok but didn't really hit the expectations of gastro.. We enjoyed our evening but this had more to do with the friends we were with rather than unfortunately the fairly average pub food.
Very pleasant evening; good food choices; good quality; attentive service; much enjoyed by all. Have been before and will go again. One of the better gastro-pub options in Windlesham.
The Bee has a large dog friendly garden, pleasant light lunches and good beer. Certainly worth a visit even if you don't have a dog.
Very good service; just one small hiccup. My first choice of meal was not available but alternative was equally good! Always well worth a visit
Had to wait 30 minutes plus for food. I didn't like the idea of cooking my own steak at the table, when I go out meal I don't expect to do the chef's job for him.
Don't let first impression put you off, good service and nice food. The starters are the strong point and I had difficulty choosing just one.
Food good but service horrendous. Had to wait at least 45 minutes to get starters and mains. No communication, no nothing. Won't go there again in a hurry
