We dined at The Bee Pub on New Years day for Lunch, the staff were totally charming, all four of us felt the food and service was really very good. I had the Parsnip Soup to start and it was nice and hot and like my main the Vegetarian Mushroom Wellington, both were extremely tasty. Just one criticism, instead of dessert I ordered a Baileys Coffee which actually arrived cold. However, overall I would recommend The Bee for a relaxed meal, it's a nice friendly family pub. with good food and lovely staff.

Very tasty lunch at The Bee today. Good choice of dishes on the menu and lovely to have a log fire! Would definitely recommend this pub.

The Bee pub was friendly and welcoming. The pub is small in size but the portions of the food were just right. We will be back again for sure soon to enjoy the tasty food!

Overall very good indeed. The sea bass was excellent. Service was very friendly and attentive. A couple of minor negatives were the chips with the hunters chicken did not taste that fresh and the froth on the cappuccino was very thin which made it very milky.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the service was very good. We were a little bit disappointed that there was no soup of the day even though it was on the menu and we felt that the choice of starters could be improved. I would have liked there to have been a lighter choice such as a salad or the half pint of prawns that were once on the list. The only other improvement would be some lovely artisan bread. These are however minor points as we had a lovely evening.

Great service and very friendly staff. The Food was outstanding. Cosy pub not too big and very comfortable. Definitely recommend and will be going back again. Reasonably priced as well.

Pleasant evening, inexperienced service, food OK but better pubs in Windlesham, apparently I need to add a lot more words for this review to count.

Quiet as we were in the post Christmas/pre new year lull but staff attentive and food excellent - piping hot, too. We were sat by the fire, a bonus for my mother.

Good food, excellent menu and good atmosphere. Bar and waiting staff seemed a little inexperienced on the night but were very friendly. Will come back in the future.

The menu was more limited than before I had fish and chips and I doubt that the fish was freshly cooked two of us had a prawn cocktail describled as large prawns - i had four. Perhaps the Chef jhas changed - something has. We will look for another venue for our next get together

Good atmosphere, very pleasant staff, and food excellent - ideal for a quick lunch with friends or more leisurely time spent over their varied main menu. Certainly will return.

There was a strong smell of the toilets when we walked in. The restaurant lacked any atmosphere. It was cold (in both senses), quiet (couldn't hear the music) and we were sat by the toilets. My friends had garlic bread with her meal which was rock hard. Feels more like an old man's pub than a restaurant pub now which is a real shame.

Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere but nothing out of the ordinary. The food was okay but a fairly limited menu. There was a rather large hole in the floorboards underneath our table which meant the ladies got their heels caught in it which should have been remedied a while ago. I am told the ladies loo could have done with some modernisation and cleaning. The service was good though and it is a nice location.

The service we received was awful. We sat for an hour without any drinks. Staring at an array of empty glasses littering our table. In the end I made two trips to take them back to the bar. The waiter even watched me do it, without offering any assistance. We weren't asked if we want dessert or coffees. The roast potatoes were black inside. We had to keep saying excuse me to any of the waiting staff that were interested, if we required anything. We felt invisible. The table next to us got excellent service as they were friends of staff who worked there, so obviously had preferential treatment.

One of my absolute favourite pub restaurants. welcoming, great food, great service and great value - and the best pint for miles around! I'm always reluctant to leave and look forward to returning.

Lovely restaurant, and staff were very good even though the poor waitress was on her own and rushed off her feet (Thursday night). Great food, will be back again.

Having chosen a lunch hour to allow us to visit a local garden centre first, we were foiled by roadworks and decided to arrive 30mins earlier than our booked time. We received a smiling and warm welcome and little was made of our problem. We were given a table immediately, even though the restaurant rapidly filled. A delicious bottle of white wine was immediately requested and served whilst we chose our meal from an enticing menu and bottle of red from a well-chosen wine list. The food was excellent, (and the wine!), and the service delightful. decor and ambiance were very pleasing and this is definitely on for a return visit.

Everything excellent although chips were a little overdone! The bread and butter pudding with custard was the best I have ever had outside my own kitchen. Will be returning in the future.

We were given a warm welcome on arrival at 'The Bee' and all the staff were very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our evening (last Friday). Disappointingly for me though, was the fact that both the fishcakes (starter) and scampi (main) were overcooked.

Had to wait 30 minutes plus for food. I didn't like the idea of cooking my own steak at the table, when I go out meal I don't expect to do the chef's job for him.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the food was substandard. We paid £75 for 2 adults and 2 small children (without desserts but with drinks) so expected good quality food for that price. The portions were small and low quality food. The kids fish fingers were brown inside and looked deep-fried (along with chips), the chicken in the chicken burger was small and plastic-looking, the cod was small but with large portion of chips (would have expected the other way round), potato skins were small and burnt. Sauces were served in sachets, not in pots. On the plus side, the food was hot. We won't eat there again but it's a nice setting for a drink on a hot day (in the beer garden) and has a play area for kids.

The dining experience was ok but didn't really hit the expectations of gastro.. We enjoyed our evening but this had more to do with the friends we were with rather than unfortunately the fairly average pub food.

Excellent service and delicious food. Very thoughtful offer to seat us in a quieter area because of one of our group with serious hearing difficulties. We all rated it a very good experience and suggested we should go there again.

Nice locals pub, where the willingness and attitude of the staff all contributed to a pleasant evening. The menu offers something for all tastes and one can tell by the freshness that it is cooked to order.

Very friendly , warm welcome, food was good, freshly cooked, unfortunately one of the starters was overcooked , it was taken back to the Chef, but we were still charged for it, however this would deter us going back again.

We had a pleasant evening, the menu offered plenty of choice, service was fine and food was mixed. Some well cooked dishes, but although the flavour of the duck dish was nice, I found the meat rather tough and chewy. If I go again, I would choose fish over the meat.
