The food and the service were very good, but as we were early there was very little atmosphere. This could be construed as a plus because at least we could hear our conversation. Menu choices quite limited.
Food nice but a little cold. Service could have been better. Had to wait a while before being asked if meal satisfactory and then paying the bill took some time, had to take to the bar in the end as no one taking payment from us.
Food was excellent as was the service. If any criticism I would say choice was rather limited. We went on a lunch time so it wasn't too busy.Waitress really friendly.
Lovely food, service and staff. The venue was nicely decorated and with only one sitting for lunch you did not feel rushed and could enjoy each course. A lovely Christmas Day was had by everyone.
The latest available time in the online booking system was 7pm which is early hence when we arrived I was very quiet and lacking atmosphere
Full menu as per website was not available. Food only lukewarm warm. Vegetables raw. Service a bit on the slow side. Need to update the website if menu changes. Was really looking forward to a steak but pub classics weren't available.
Charming venue with lovely, friendly staff and of course excellent food! We will definitely return and would recommend. The menu variety is also well planned
Lovely meal at The Beehive yesterday evening. Kind, friendly and attentive staff. Good atmosphere and ambiance (warm and cosy). Reasonably priced and beautiful, tasty food.
Sunday lunch was spot on the roast beef was amazing in fact everything was lovely. would highly recommend this place to my friends. We will return to Try the food midweek .
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great food and service from the very friendly staff. Sunday evening quiet, but lovely and none the less on the service, well done we will be back
Good food, excellent staff. Not the restaurant's fault but the 2 adjacent tables seemed to be competing to be the loudest. Still going next Sunday though. Hope they're not there!
Went to the Beehive for Sunday lunch, which was very nice and the food was lovely. the only negative was the food was on the cool side and could have done with being a bit warmer. The staff were very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.
Had lunch here. A great choice of food with some unusual combinations. Salmon soaked in beetroot withslices of beetroot and fennel, peashoots and onion. Homemade butternut squash and sweet potato soup, plus fresh bread buns. Delicious. We will be returning.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff food fantastic really good night out can't fault anything will be going again easy to book as well via qua dojo web site
Really lovely food, good service and a great place to go. Shame is was not a bit busier but ideal for the occasion my family and I went for.
beer off tap, food very average and didn't have 2 things we asked for, nothing on specials board, awful coffee, poor overall. won't be going back.
Sadly the beef let the meal down. I took it as per the menu and found it tough & fatty the rest of the meal was fine.
Lovely meal, very good service, friendly and accommodating staff. Situated in a lovely village not far from Leeds and Harrogate, with plenty of parking spaces
Excellent service, good food, attentive employees and bar staff and really great location. Never rushed or hassled during the meal and well looked after x
Good service and for the main good food. Risotto was a bit hard and stodgy but other meals were fine. Lighting could do with upgrading because with the dated dark walls its very dark to read your menu if you're in a corner away from windows.
Lovely friendly staff. Menu had plenty of choice and the restaurant was a nice size without being cramped. Nice atmosphere and lovely food. Will be back.
Very nice meal and good service. Though the selections could have been a bit more exciting and seasonal. Will definitely be back as it is excellent value for money given the quality.
Excellent evening. My husband's birthday, celebrating with my son and his wife. We all enjoyed the main and dessert so much. The young waiter was very attentive but not so as to be annoying. All in all, a very enjoyable evening. We've been many times before, and will return.
Nice food. The shared seafood platter starter was excellent. Nice atmosphere. Quiet (on a Monday). Good value for money. This was our first visit - would go again.
Very nice food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. My wife and I visited midweek without our children and enjoyed a selection of locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection.
Lovely friendly welcome, excellent service and delicious food and wine. Slightly disappointed with the sticky toffee pudding but everything else so nice. Good value...will definitely return.
Very cheerful and helpful staff good service ,very easy to book on line ,very clean place with views over the land and a very good meal and to expensive
This was a family reunion. We all enjoyed the experience. The menu catered for all tastes including a vegetarian. The service was good and we were made to feel welcome.
The Beehive is a nice bar/restuarant, but the atmosphere was not very good, probably down to having very few people in. The food was very well presented, I had the lemon and garlic chicken, my only critisism is that it was a very small portion and didn't fill me up. I normally drink cask ale but the only bitter on was Black sheep, it was either this or nothing else apart from lagers.
We booked for Sunday lunch for 4. Our food was good with decent portions and the price was reasonable. The staff were all friendly and polite.
The waiter and chef were just brilliant! It was a last minute booking as it was my aunites birthday but they made her day ! The food was pretty good too Thank you !
Excellent once again, recommend to people with families, food was fantastic, staff are very pleasant, every time we go it gets better and better love it xxx
Food was very good, it possibly lacked a little atmosphere, though it was a Wednesday night so was quite quiet. No signage to tell us there is a car park so we struggled to find it. Overall though, fine and I'd happily return.
Lovely Sunday lunch with great Yorkshire Puddings, and nice wine.
Enjoyed the meal and the friendly attentive staff. Unfortunately there was two parties of four near our table and they were competing to be heard. This meant until their food arrived I could not hear my dining companion. Perhaps another night will be quieter.
Weather was amazing so we sat outside. Inside restaurant looked lovely too. Nice location and lovely staff. Good menu choices and the food was excellent. Our first visit we will be back again.
A good service and food. The vegetables were a little under done but overall very nice. The waitress was very at tentative and not too overbearing.
We were provided with a friendly service and the food was excellent. A good selection of drinks and the wine was good value for money.
Better than expected. Food enjoyable., more people in this time so more of an atmosphere however, the child behind me making screaming noises occasionally that went right through me, that spoilt it.
Thanks - another good meal at the Beehive - fab wine and reasonable prices It was a quiet night Tuesday but we made enough noise
Excellent service and food would certainly go back. The quality and portion size for the price was outstanding. Serving staff and the restaurant were lovely.
It's been a long time since I've been to The Beehive so wasn't sure what it would be like- but so glad we did. Excellent food and excellent service in a lively atmosphere. Would highly recommend!
Cozy ambiance, great food, super service. Good to have this place in the locality! We will be back, thanks for a great night, our friends were very impressed.
About a year since we last visited the beehive, lovely food, good ambience and service. A couple of items not available from the published menu but this didn't detract from the evening.
Lovely restaurant & friendly staff. Dissappointed with steak over done and not very tasty. seafood pasta didn't contain much seafood mainly pasta. Small portions. Salad was just lettuce!
Booked the Behive specifically to my elderly mother and two friends for a Christmas dinner. The set menu on the web site looked exactly what we wanted. When we arrived we were taken to our table and given the normal lunch menu. When I asked for the Christmas menu I was told this had to be pre booked!! There is no mention of this on the web site. We had to make do with the normal lunch menu, which but a bit of a downer on the occasion. When paying the bill I was asked if everything was OK to which I pointed out my disappointment, the girl tried to explain their reasoning about having a lot of waste last year. However if the Christmas menu had to be pre booked it ought to be made more clear. The waitress service was slow which didn't help. Will I return? Doubtful
Good food, but restaurant was lacking in ambience. One of the bar staff was very unhelpful and too busy drinking their own coffee to serve our drinks. The younger waitress was very friendly and running around after a bigger party.
Great choice menu - traditional pub choices, and a mix of other dishes. Good service and understood gluten free and offered many options. Great evening, worth finding
This is the third time we have visited this location for a meal. This occasion we were a party of 6. The food and service were outstanding as usual. The steak pie is excellent with plenty of lean beef and the sea bass is the tastiest that I have ever had. I would fully recommend this restaurant.
Selected this inn after researching the internet before we travelled-up from the south. Warm welcome from the staff, good modern decor and excellent food made it a good choice !
