Cracking day at the Bell for jubilee. The street food menu was a real winner with us all, lovely tasting and well cooked food. Lovely weather and atmosphere plus good wine and ales😀

We love the Bell but this time not up to their normal level. The Caesar Salad was too wet & the Belly Pork dish was too dry, more gravy/sauce needed.

Great value lunch, my friend had two courses for just £9. I had the tagliatelle with prawns which was very nice.

Excellent in all respects. We were offered a choice of indoor or outdoor seating with an option to move inside if necessary. Very attentive staff, clearly well briefed in infection control measures. The food was well prepared and presented, and arrived at our table very quickly. We were very pleased to see that the menu had not been “doctored” for the EO2HO offer. This was not our first visit to the Bell, and will not be our last. Welcome back!

Having been unable to visit The Bell (or any other pub or restaurant) for almost 4 months, we were looking forward to both returning to dining out, and interested to see how they were handling the situation. As expected, the owners and staff of The Bell were right on top of it all with a reassuringly system in place that made us feel very safe. The staff were fabulous and the food was outstanding. Well done to the entire team for rising to the post-lockdown challenges of reopening. Top job.
