Probably one of the most accommodating pubs I've ever been too. From management, to staff, to chefs nothing was too much trouble and the level of detail that went into organising my partner's mother's day meal due to a milk/soya allergy (if you know, you know) was exceptional. The owner and his wife had even baked a separate batch of cupcakes (given to all the mums) that was also milk/soya free. You just don't get this level of detail and thought from other pubs. it helps too that the atmosphere was lovely and the food was incredible. Overall, an unforgettable experience and We'll definitely be coming back

The food was well presented and perfectly portioned. The menu was not overly ambitious but plenty of choice for lunchtime. The service was efficient and staff very helpful and pleasant.

Excellent value for money . The roast beef was perfect . Very generous portion and melted in your mouth. Veg cooked to perfection . Delicious gravy……. and the Yorkshire pudding just finished it all off. Staff very friendly and professional

We both ordered the sirloin steak and it was delicious. It was beautifully cooked and this was followed by the crumble and my wife ordered the waffle. Both were wonderfully presented and delicious. Well recommended

A wedding reception was happening at the same time as our visit, but both the food and service were excellent despite the extra demands placed on the pub.

Food excellent even on a Sunday evening when our group of four were the only ones dining.

The roast beef was the best beef I have tasted for a long long time and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The bread and butter pudding was also very good. My wife and I were really impressed so we booked a table for four next Sunday and we will be meeting a couple of friends. I can and will recommend The Bell at Broad heath. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality.

As always, somewhere we will continue to meet friends and eat.

The food was all absolutely lovely, plenty of choice of dishes. I had beef bourgignon which was very tasty but there wasn't a lot of mashed potato to soak it all up unfortunately. A couple of negatives was the seating. We were sat on a leather sofa at a dining table which was a bit too low with no cushions for support so we were perched on the edge. Fortunately the elderly couple with us were sat on proper dining chairs. Also there was a lovely roaring fire but it was quite smokey. All in all though we had a lovely lunch and we will definitely return, the staff were really lovely too.

We had a very warm welcome being seated 15 minutes in a very pleasant space by the fire as I had asked when booking, the service was excellent and our drinks and meals we perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more.

A small round table for four people allocated whereas , larger square tables were accommodating only two people .The menu for evening meals is very limited insufficient choice and very overpriced. The steak pie consists mainly of very thick pastry and small amounts of filling.

It was my first time at the Bell Inn as I was not disappointed. The pub is very inviting, staff are extremely pleasant. The food was excellent in taste and value for money. I will definitely be back well worth a visit.

A lovely atmosphere with a log fire and very good food. Service was prompt and polite. Good choice on the menu with the salmon starter being the highlight for us. Well done as usual, we are now using the Bell as a regular eating spot. GOOD VFM !
