The Black Swan - Burn Bridge

The Black Swan has great food and a very warm welcome. It has comfortable surroundings and attentive service. I would definetly recommend a visit here.

We had a very pleasant lunch, lovely surroundings, a warm welcome from the log fire and even warmer from the staff on a bitter winter's day. Would recommend.

The staff were very friendly. I think the menu could have had more choice, it was ok but on the plus side you got good size portions and value for money.

excellent tasty food and very good service. Large garlic bread, massive starter dragon chicken. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Ohh, I almost forgot the lovely live music band on Saturday.

Friendly staff, good food. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. The menu is varied and there was enough choice to suit everyone in our party including the children. They particularly enjoyed the huge desserts!

Great, quick service. Pizzas for the kids, burgers for us, simple but tasty! Would recommend the brownies for pudding! Great outdoor beer garden & play area for the kids - perfect for a hot summers day!

Pleasant airy causal pub with superb outdoors space for both adults and children. Very solid menu, tastes to please many and at a fair price. Food is excellent, all boxes ticked for quality, presentation and enjoyment. Service fine, a tad disjointed. A very safe bet for all ages.

Great food, friendly staff and a warm and homely atmosphere. Had an excellent family lunch here. The Black Swan burger is always a favourite. Also tried the steak and blue cheese pizza this time which was delicious! The salads and sandwiches always contain good quality ingredients too.

Food was very nice, staff were nice, Dragon Chicken starter very big enough to share between 2 people. Only negative point that I had , I had to ask for menus after sitting at our table for 10 minutes. They have changed a policy that the menus are not on the table, they are to give you them when you approach the bar.

Good, hearty food. Courteous service. There was a wait because the restaurant was busy but we were notified of this and it did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

Great hamburgers and a good selection of ales. Tuesdays is burger night and features a deal on burger with a selection of ales. Kids menu with a good amount of choice ranging from kids burger or fish fingers to a pizza. Good service too, friendly and efficient.

The Black Swan is a very warm and welcoming pub. The food was delicious, the portions were extremely generous and it was great value for money.

We found The Black Swan by complete luck as we were driving around the area. It has great service and very friendly staff! The food is absolutely amazing! We have been a few times now and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!!

After our evening at the Black Swan in Pannal we only have great things to say! We enjoyed good food lovely service... nice village pub.

We have been to The Black Swan before but not for a while. It is so much better since the new menu was introduced. We all enjoyed a lovely meal in a very friendly atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

Took a group of family and friends to the Black Swan to celebrate my Birthday. We all really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent - especially considering we were such a large group.

Visited for Sunday lunch. Excellent food and service. Huge portions and yummy deserts. Family friendly with 2 children under 5. We will definitely return again. Only negative is that we were sitting right next to a couple of dogs and my husband has a dog hair allergy. We will make sure we mention this next time we book as I'm sure given the level of service the manager will ensure we sit somewhere this wouldn't be a problem.

I found the staff pleasant and the meal was ok, although felt sure that some or all of it had been pre-cooked. Also children found gaps in hedging giving access to the beck!

Very nice food and pleasant staff and surroundings. will go again. Good chois e of meals and some nice beers really enjoyed the Barista Stout.

Extremely good food - perfectly cooked - fish and chips was the best we have eaten in a very long time. Would have given the restaurant a perfect score but a steak ordered, although beautifully cooked, became cold as the plate was not fully heated.

Full of kids on a Saturday night!! Like a whacky warehouse, food nice but greasy!! Not a great Saturday night experience.. Staff helpful and friendly..

Good honest pub food - tasty and good value. Friendly, attententive and speedy service. Well worth a visit. Try the smokehouse plate but only if you're very hungry!!

Good food & good beer/lager on draught. Pleasant atmosphere for a Wednesday night. Will probably return with the family to sample the Sunday roast soon.

Food was ok but seemed to have come mostly out of the freezer. Staff are friendly and efficient. The pub doesn't seem to have changed much - decor etc all the same

An interesting menu with some unusual choices such as Vodka flamed shrimp and chorizo bruscetta. Staff very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Good size portions and most importantly served HOT.

Loved the vodka shrimp! Immense!! My kids loved it. Will be back soon. Roaring fires.

Great service and really looked after the children. Overall a very good experience. The play park for the children and large outdoor area make it the ideal early evening visit.

A well appointed pub that serves good pub food which is reasonably priced and nicely presented by friendly staff, and overall a nice atmosphere, also a good selection of drinks.
