Outstanding food, brilliant staff. Under lots of pressure due to current circumstances but did not effect the food or the experience we will be back

Don’t be put off by the external appearance of the pub - this is really good Italian cooking at a fantastic price with some great wines as well.

This was our first visit for over 12 months but it is still good food, good service and good prices. We will be back again shortly for a repeat experience.

We went the slow cooked beef from the Sunday menu, and it was amazing. As I chef for 25 years I would've been more than happy to have served that to my customers. I only wish I hadn't had the car so I could've enjoyed a glass or two of red wine with lunch. There's always next time...…..

Fantastic food and prices also do Gluten Free food which is really good as my wife has Coleiac which makes it quite hard to find places to eat out. The staff are really friendly and helpful too.

Great evening. Good was delicious and allergies adhered to without fuss. Staff were attentive and service was prompt. There were two birthday parties in the restaurant and the staff sang happy birthday which was a nice touch.

Staff not friendly at all and pasta bolognese was very spicy. I couldn’t eat the meal as so spicy and was never asked was the meal ok or anything. Would not return

Really enjoyed our experience at the Tavistock , sat outside for drinks until we went into restaurant for our meal. Staff very friendly and service was excellent. We shared garlic bread with cheese as starter and both had pasta meals which we enjoyed. Atmosphere was very good which made for a very enjoyable night.

Good value for money. We ate using the 'early bird' menu expecting smaller portions - not!! Very enjoyable meal and would recommend this restaurant to others.

great meal again, the service was good, when we arrived we were given a table in the extention but due to the warm weather it was rather warm so we asked to be moved this was no problem to them and we moved table straightaway. thanks again for a lovely night and meal.
