The food was very good, it was served hot and very well presented. The service was excellent, nothing was any trouble . It was my birthday meal with friends and they all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely food lovely staff and really good value for money. My favourite Italian. Never had a bad meal yet. Would most definitely recommend to anyone

This was a quick return after our first ever visit roughly a fortnight ago. On this occasion we brought family to enjoy the meals and atmosphere. We were not disappointed. Everyone enjoyed it. It was extremely busy and the owner and staff worked hard to accommodate everyone. The one thing I would say is that whilst staff are attentive, orders, bills, and/or drinks, can be forgotten when requested and need to asked for again. This is only a slight grip but it did occur as well on our first visit so perhaps this needs be to be addressed. Overall a splendid dining experience.

Great food and fantastic early bird prices. Restaurant is busy early Friday evenings with a great atmosphere. Definitely need to book. We'll definitely be back.

Fabulous food at great prices. Lovely ambience and excellent, friendly service. Sunday lunch scrumptious!! We have used this restaurant since it opened. The standard has never slipped and we will keep on using it.

My friend and I dined early on a Saturday evening and the whole experience was fabulous. Lovely helpful staff, who did everything they could to accommodate a few additional requests, and the food was delicious. We will definitely return.

Superb food, great setting,great atmosphere and excellent service especially from the girl who seemed to be in charge, as she exchanged a bottle of wine for us and found us a better table.👍👏👌

Great food, excellent service. We are regulars and to be honest if it wasn't any good we wouldn't be back...but we've been regulars for the last 5+ years. Early bird offers are really good but we don't begrudge full price for the service and quality.

Excellent starters and mains, desserts not as impressive, but overall very pleasant meal in a nice environment. Will happily return again for a try on other items on the menu

Yet another excellent meal with good service. We never feel rushed to leave the table even when the restaurant is busy. It's always good to catch up with staff we haven't seen for a while.

One of the nicest Sunday lunches we've had in a long while. So tasty. Meat and chicken gloriously tender. Service was slightly slow ,had to keep looking for waiter to press on but on the whole a lovely afternoon.

Food was gorgeous, potion size just right. Price was very reasonable. The staff were very friendly. Atmosphere was lovely. Myself and 3 friends each had a different main course and each one was great.

Very nice ambience - food was delicious but could have benefited from a wider selection of desserts! Plus I don't need to see the manager giving one of his staff members a right talking to in the corridor! On the whole a reasonably enjoyable evening! Viva Italia!

The food was delicious and good value for money, we enjoyed the variety of Italian classics with Sunday Roasts. The restaurant wasn't too busy which was nice but we were put in a very tight corner, under a speaker. All in all, we would definitely go back.

We are so lucky to have this very local to us (5 minutes walk), as always the food and service were excellent - will probably be back again within the next couple of weeks.

Booked on behalf of my better half for her and her friend. It was quiet as it was early Monday evening. The staff were happy for them to take their time ordering and eating while they had a good catch up. I got a takeaway pizza from the restaurant when I picked them up. It was wonderful.

Nice food & good service. The pasta was excellent but the pizza was a bit too doughy for us would have preferred it a bit thinner. Steaks that were coming out looked very good, will definitely be going back.

Good place to eat, large portions. Only downside for me was steak was too fatty. Other than that anow enjoyable fair priced meal in a good pub.

Really fast service, tasty food and good portions. Really enjoyed our meal, it was full of flavour and was good value for money. There was a good amount of choice on the menu with the classic Italian and dishes that were a bit different. Venue had a nice atmosphere for evening dining and wasn't cramped despite being a busy time.

Love this restaurant, which was a lucky find on a previous visit to the area. There is a great atmosphere, the staff are all friendly and efficient (although their rendering of 'Happy Birthday' won't win Britain's Got Talent!), but above all else, the food is fantastic, with authentic Italian dishes and a great range of wines to accompany the meal.

Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic staff, went for my daughters birthday and the staff made her feel so special just a 20 minute walk from over the bridge

Very slow service, i had the seafood linguine which contained 3 prawns 10 mussels and some very rubbery squid. We were there 2 hours and there were only 3 of us and we only had two courses. They need more staff.

Lovely restaurant, staff always pleasant and efficient. Very good menu with plenty of choice - whether visiting lunch time or evening. Well worth a visit.

7 of us booked on Saturday night for 8.15 for my grandson's 14th Birthday. He chose the restaurant himself as we have always enjoyed ourselves on our previous visits. We were eventually shown to our table way after 9.00. Service was shocking. We had to ask if we could order drinks. Similarly we had to ask if we could order food as no one came to serve. There was no warm Italian welcome, no friendly waiters coming to the tables and no rapport whatsoever to us the customers. When the food finally came it was good. It was 10.50 before we finally finished the mains. We were not offered the choice of having a dessert nor the usual free glass of limoncello which others were offered. Obviously there were more diners than the staff could cope with. Although we have been to this restaurant many times over the years for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, Christmas etc. WE WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN.

Good service , great food large portions nice atmosphere would recommend, parking is limited but normally theres no problem , goods prices for an italian

Really good well worth the repeat visit. Would highly recommend for either small or large parties as good food and service at very reasonable prices
