Great find when staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Washington, just 5 minutes away. Lovely italian food, friendly and busy atmosphere and value for money.

Food was excellent and well presented. Good wine list and service was very good. Surroundings OK and greeting at the bar when enquiring about the table left something to be desired.

Very pleasent staff. Good service and we choose from the early bird menu. Food was excellent rated by all of us. The tiramisu was especially good

Fast service(which was needed as we were in a hurry) and the food was delicious. Manage to catch the special menu making the price very reasonable.

Very much welcomed and could choose own table.. drinks were served promptly even tho it was 7pm on a busy Saturday and seats were being filled quickly. our food was piping hot with large portions. Starters and Mains left us too full for dessert. The house red was delicious! We asked to have a delay before ordering coffee and this was adhered to. A very relaxing and enjoyable evening was Order of the Day at the Tavistock Board Inn, Birtley. As we had driven there we asked to take our half bottle of red home with us. Again, No Problemo !

Tasty gorgeous food with fabulous service every time. Early bird menu is worth every penny and quality of food or size of portions are not compromised. Highly Recommend this restaurant.

Felt very rushed and I found the restaurant scruffy. The loo had no toilet seat. The waiter almost spilt stuff on us twice and when asked for Jug of water they brought a filled glass.

Quick service. Meal always good here . Nice sunny day. I think with hindsight if we had been asked, we would have sat outside as it looked nice. Everything went OK .

Good experience in the restaurant on Sunday evening. Reasonable price, great quality of food and good service. Caused we arrived at 7.30 and the restaurant closes at 9, no time to complete our dinner with dessert.

Staff were very friendly, a wonderful ambience in the restaurant, good service and most importantly a good choice of meals on the menu and especially good food. Will certainly return.

Good value. Lovely food. Pizza excellent and huge! Too much sauce on salmon! Shame about music! (Radio blasting out from speaker over our table playing rubbish!)

Lovely food, friendly service, fab prices and nice decor. We weren't finished chatting after our food but were able to go through to the bar and carry on and have a drink on there. Will definitely be going back!

Visited for my wife's Birthday. The table was ready when we arrived and we had an excellent meal. we can always rely on a first class steak. All in all we had a really good night. Thank you.

This is still and has been my favourite Italian restaurant for years. The food is excellent, the service is quick and friendly and the house wine represents the quality of the restaurant, typically Italian and excellent value for money. Grazie!

Our meal was excellent , two pastas and garlic bread with cheese to share as starter. Service was also excellent especially as the restaurant was very busy on this Saturday night. Staff were very pleasant with all the customers .

Great food and great presentation, but need more staff to ensure a great service although the staff worked hard could do with a few extra hands, will try again in the future!

Friendly service and good food. My friend had the sea bass with shellfish which was beautiful in looks and taste, while I had the pollo e funghi also delicious. Bread and olives was a great way to start the meal. Would definitely go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Tavistock Italia. The restaurant itself is quite a surprise as it's tucked behind a pub on a main road. The service was efficient and friendly (but not overly so) and the food delicious and well presented.

We booked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary and have been here a few times before. The food is delicious and the service is great. We would highly recommend it.

It’s been a while since our last visit but it was just as good as I remembered. Service was very good, the staff very friendly and polite. and the food was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.
