Very good food. Friendly service. Fairly quiet, but was a weekday night. Tip: Always check your bill before paying. We were warned about this prior to going and sure enough we were charged for 3 mains instead of 2!

First time visiting although its quite local to us. A typical Italian restaurant atmosphere with a good range of excellent food on the menu. Staff were brilliant, friendly and gave excellent service. Will definitely return

It was very busy so a long delay in being served compared to previous visits. Chicken dish I ordered was also over cooked making the chicken dry.

Excellent food and atmosphere was great. Only negative was our table was jammed in a corner so once I was sat down I couldn't get out without disrupting other tables around us.

Although the restaurant was very busy the service was spot on and the food excellent. This is the third time we have visited and have never been disappointed, we will be coming back.

Hands down best steak ever. Have the filetto and you won’t regret it. Great, friendly service and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Very well priced too.

Went for son's 11th birthday for the early bird evening meal. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was beautiful and tasty. The service was very prompt and the prices were very reasonable. The setting is lovely, rustic and cosy.

Good selection and good value for money. A la carte and early bird menu available at lunchtime. Very quiet at lunchtime when we were there.

Ambiance superb, staff engaging, from the moment you step through the door you are made to feel welcome and when leaving you find yourself planning forcwhen you can next go back and of course the food was superb with more than generous sized helpings

Lovely food for a very reasonable price. Have recently discovered this restaurant and will definitely be back. Have only tried Sunday lunch so far so need to sample Italian menu.

First visit and certainly not the last. Nice ambiance to the restaurant and both food and service very good. No difficulty choosing what to eat with a menu giving choice but not too much. Pleasantly surprised so don't be shy give it a try.

The restaurant is downstairs and is nice atmosphere. Unfortunately that was the only positive we had. Food was bland/lacked seasoning their Mozzarella Margharita pizza was completely tasteless. But the worse part of the evening had to be the manic waiter who rushed at tables snatching up plates and being very gruff and snappy when addressing diners at the table. He made our part feel very uncomfortable.

The food is always good here. Everything freshly made and the atmosphere is great. You can have a drink in the bar after your meal which finished our evening off perfectly.

The food was delicious and the the portions were quite large. The service from the staff was also excellent. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.

No one available to greet us when we arrived or when we paid bill. Had to wait a good few minutes for both. Starter of calimero was tough and cut too thick but waitress did remove from bill . Main course was good

Great meal, service slightly slow when we were initially seated. Always seems slightly chaotic but fine once our order was taken. Good prices as well.

Great food as always. We all really enjoyed what we had. My favourite is the chicken in mushroom and cream sauce. Great value on the happy hour menu.

Excellent service as always and the food was superb, especially the Parmigiana starter. We are very lucky to have this on our doorstep and visit quite regularly.

The food here is excellent. me and my husband had the fillet steak cooked perfect! Staff nice and friendly and service was very quick on such a busy night.

Lovely place. Calamari to start could have done with longer in the dryer, the batter was still soggy. The rest of the food was amazing. Service seemed a little too efficient if there is such a thing, in the way of we felt rushed out. 3 courses in just over an hour. As soon as we put our final mouthfuls in the plates would be whipped away . Great experience, just a few little niggles. We will definitley be back though

Wonderful pasta dish for each of us, really tasty and filling. Did not leave much room for "proper" dessert - so we tried the delicious ice cream !!

The food was very good, it was served hot and very well presented. The service was excellent, nothing was any trouble . It was my birthday meal with friends and they all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Service was good. Main course was good, however the salad that came with the starter this was limp and had a small black fly under the salad leaves.

I booked on line and the day before had a courtesy call from the Tavistock because I had a special request which was fulfilled. The service and food were both just what we needed and the ambiance comfortable and cosy. A happy night out with firends.

Been here a few times for Sunday lunch everything was cooked lovely best roast beef ever and gravy only thing is like more vegetables but otherwise nothing to complain about staff friendly
