This was our 3rd visit to the amazing Boat House and were not disapointed, food delicious and well cooked, staff friendly and smiling, atmosphere quiet as there were only a few tables taken but still amazing. Beautiful views of the evening sky and the Malverns too. Looking forward already to our next visit!

Lovely meal on the balcony with our 5yo yesterday evening. Service was great; there was some confusion over opening times (conflicting info on their website & door) but they were very accommodating.

We love The Boat house at Upton on Severn! The Tapas is always beautifully cooked and service excellent. We watched boats go by as we sat on the balcony overlooking the river. Perfect!

We were greeted with a very warm welcome by the staff. We were talked through the menu before ordering and told of a selection of specials. The food was brought out as and when it was cooked, which we liked as it was cooked fresh and the tapas was delicious. I'd definitely revisit.

Great service great location and a lovely menu - The King's Tapas is the best Tapa we have ever had. A brilliant, friendly environment and a lovely manager who takes time to chat and made us very welcome.

We just picked a couple of tapas selections each and with a grazing board we weere unable to finish off everything. All of the dishes were very tasty and the staff were attentive. A great night out.

If you're looking for something a little different, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere this is the place for you! Great for cosy romantic nights but also for social gatherings with your friends. Delicious food with the emphasis on freshness and quality ingredients. Oh, and don't even get me started on the cocktail list...... There is a gin bar with over 60 different gins and you'll often find events such as gin tasting, live music, themed food evenings and more. We love it enough to have our wedding reception there!

Excellent food, good portions and a warm welcome. We were there on a cold grey January day so ate downstairs rather than upstairs where there is a great view over the river Severn. Nowhere to park but there are two free car parks within 5 to 10 mins walk

Great food. We shared the Kings Tapas, 11 dishes between 4 of us, it was all delicious with some interesting Mediterranean flavours. There was plenty of it and we could have ordered “ free refills” if we wanted more. The staff were very friendly and informative. We had gin and tonics at the bar before our food, there were so many different ones available but we were well advised on which to choose. Would definitely return and maybe leave room for a dessert next time as they also sounded very good

Superb real Spanish cooking with an enormous choice of tapas. Good attentive (but not pushy) service in attractive surroundings. A glass of very drinkable Sauvignon Blanc was £4.50 - better than many high street chains of restaurants. Very reasonably priced for such good quality food. Worth a visit? - 100% certainly! Martin

Delicious food and great service. All of the dishes that we had were lovely and the portion sizes were good. And the cocktails were great too.

Excellent food good atmosphere- great Saturday night out. Went for the kings tapas which has 11 dishes. Good value for £23. Would recommend for a lovely evening out.

Lovely venue. Excellent decor, relaxing atmosphere. Staff were lovely, we were made to feel at home. Food was excellent. Most tasty and flavoursome dishes I have had from anywhere for some time. Nicely prepared and presented, arrived in quick time, too. Staff were attentive but not obtrusive throughout. All that would have been enough for an excellent evening, but we went on a night with live music. The Kate Gee Band were playing and they were fantastic. So great to see musicians performing with such versatility and be enjoying what they were doing. They were friendly too and almost had us on stage with them with friendly chat and some happy banter. This is one of the best nights out I have had in years.

The food was delicious and varied. It was all freshly cooked and the individual dishes arrived promptly. We particularly enjoyed the ambiance and the music.

My first visit. Pleasant and friendly service. Picturesque location right on the river with the option to eat inside or out. Very tasty and varied menu. Will definitely be returning.

Another fabulous eating experience at The Boathouse, fabulous staff, incredible food . We always have the Kings Tapas as we love the ever changing variety of Tapas that just keeps coming; never the same on any visit. My only criticism, on this ocassion, would be that the food came too quickly, we were in and out in an hour and a half, would have liked it to have lasted a couple of hours, but maybe that was our error and we should have let the waiter know that we wanted longer inbetween Tapas deliveries.

Good food, friendly staff, great location. Love the halloumi with breakfast! Decor a little tired, but food makes up for it. Great if you can get a table outside on a nice day.

My favourite place in Upton. Delicious tapas. Friendly service. You can sit on the the balcony on a sunny day - and watch the boats and the world go by. Fabulous.

A wonderful evening was had by our party. The food was exceptional and there was plenty of variety in the dishes. A great place to eat and relax.

The food (King Tapas) was amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Fantastic stock of different Gins which made the drinks choice hard!! There were 5 of us but my 1st visit - certainly not my last.

Tapas wasn’t that great, for instance the pork skewer was lovely, especially the food cous but the FROZEN mussels disappointing, not good value for money!!

It is certainly a great location. Good and speedy service. Good food. OK value for money. You are paying for the location and the view.

The most AMAZING food. 5 of us, ladies, chose tapas. Superb. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful environment. Sat by the river for drinks also.
